After grinding for an hour to make a handle for my knife, cracks showed up in the deep part of the wood. Probably not the fault of the seller, but still money wasted.

What I received was a flawless piece of very dark ebony. For me it is wooden gold! Those reviewers who think the pieces are rather small perhaps don't understand how valuable and desired this wood is. I would buy again from this vendor in a heartbeat. Quality product.

At first I really liked this wood and quickly ordered two more....then when I cut the wood and started to work the wood I found a big crack running 2/3 of the length and almost completely through. This wood was worthless to me. Lucky, the two I ordered after this arrived without cracks.
