I am happy with it overall. I really like the carabineer clip which works much better and is more versatile than the suction cups that many other products use. It is also more rugged than similar speakers that I used in the past. The LEDS may be a little bit of a gimmick but they can be turned off, however I actually ended up liking them so I use them although I would not purchase it for them. The battery life is not great but is certainly more than adequate and with the Carabineer clip it is easy to take it away to charge it. The port cover is solid but easy to remove so no inconvenience and it is finally one that uses USB-c so I don't have to look for a special chord to charge it. My only complaint is that its Bluetooth only connects to one connection so if you are using it as a shower speaker and the last person to use the shower is in range when you turn it on, it will connect to their phone and you can not connect to it until you find the phone it is connected to and have that person turn off their Bluetooth. It is great if you are the only person who uses it but if you are in a family where several people want to use it, get used to turning off your blue tooth when you are not using it. ... show more

I bought this shower radio for my college-age daughter. She loves it! Sound quality is great. I was so impressed, I bought a second shower radio for myself! If a call comes through, the radio announces the phone number so you can decide if you want to answer or ignore the call. And yes, I have answered a call thru the shower radio while the shower was running. The sound was clear on my end and the caller’s end. So far, so good with this speaker. My requirements were water resistant and loud enough for me to understand podcasts or audiobooks over the sound of my loud shower. It does that just fine. As an added bonus it does have rubber coating so hopefully that will help if I drop it in the shower or on the bathroom tiles. I’ve tried playing music with it & the base seemed decent for the size & cost of the speaker. It’s never going to be a Bose but I don’t need it to be for the shower or in my small kitchen. I didn’t really care about the lights feature. Kind of cool that they have several settings for different displays but TBH, I just leave them off. All you have to do is press the light button a few times to cycle through the setting until you get to lights off. It stays at that setting each time you turn the speaker on. ... show more

Sound is decent for the size, initial Bluetooth connectivity is a bit tricky but once it's connected, reconnecting is very simple. Be cautious when using the light feature. It looks super cool but if you are looking to use the speaker for any prolonged period of time the lighting effect dramatically shortens the battery life.     • Great for Morning Affirmations in the Shower!

I bought this because I’ve been trying to commit to doing affirmations every morning. I’m not a morning person, so waking up 10 minutes earlier to do them isn’t an option haha. I started listening to my guided affirmations in the shower and realized how effective it was. It even helped me make sure I had a time limit on the shower that I didn’t go over! But over the sound of the water running, it was so difficult to hear. I have absolutely adored this speaker since I took it out of the package! Firstly, I was very pleased with the sound quality. It was a decent price and I figured the cost was to cover it being water proof and didn’t have high hopes for the volume. But wow! I wanted to invite people over just to listen to music around it!
