I live in Hurricane Country. (South Louisiana) You never know when you’re going to need power. I have used it a couple of times, just when the electricity went out for hours at a time. I wish I would’ve gotten the larger model, but you know budget.

Does not have true pass through power. Cannot be charged with solar and AC at same time. Solar panels even setup in optimum conditions could not get to exceed 74 watts. Unit itself seems well built with rubber mold on key areas. Tested on small mini fridge that peaks wattage at 670 watts when it kicks on but then runs at 340 watts for only a couple minutes at a time. Should run a mini fridge if % is reliable for nearly 24 hours based on my kill a watt. Using 40 watt hours every 3 hours. AC charging brick power cords are undersized for the wattage it draws there is potential risk for fire charging by AC. Car and solar wires are sized fine just not AC. Other advertised features work as advertised for 15 dollars more they should just include their carry bag as these things can burn your house down when not looking in storage. Would I buy again for under 400 dollars it is a excellent price. For 419 it is meh considering solar panels are 129 and the unit is 289 it is cheaper usually to buy seperately but they do not allow returns. Solar panels priced well the unit itself is priced a little on the high end compared to similar models if the wireless charging is worth the extra 15 to 20 dollars for you get this if not then consider your use case. I love EBL products and their performance this one is definitely not bad but it is also definitely not great. Support has been helpful when ran into issue with solar charging as the Emerson port on my unit may be defective and can only use the barrel jack ... show more
