The EBKAROCY E-bike was scheduled for shipment from CA within a day (but took FedEx a week to deliver) and came very well packaged and in great shape. Everything that could be preassembled for shipment was so that it was very easy to assemble within 30 minutes following video (manual instructions were not clear). Unfortunately, we encountered sudden shut-down issues several times during first few rides even though display showed 5 bars. Battery wouldn't hold charge overnight either. Contacted customer support who responded rapidly to my email and recommended and quickly sent a new replacement battery based on my description of the problem. The replacement battery works great with several 7-12 mile rides without a single battery level drop on the display, no unexpected shut-downs and good overnight capacity retention. Customer service was very responsive. We really like the many features of and how fun it is to ride this e-bike! The e-bike itself provides great value (we paid $359 on 04-26-2024 but now its listed at $349) for its many design features (easy folding and handlebar/seat height configuration, good display, comfortable seat/ride with mid-shock absorber, powerful/responsive motor, great (replacement) battery life, keys to lock battery and display/motor) tidy/contained harness, loud horn, front light, taillight conveniently placed handle to lift bike, rear seat/rack for bike bag, etc). Just wish shipping wasn't so expensive ($149) but it did come well packaged in perfect condition (other than faulty battery). We just got a bad battery, which happens. Choosing and buying an e-bike online isn't easy. We're glad we chose this EBKAROCY E-bike and appreciate the candid reviews that provided insights and confidence and the very good customer support that rewarded the confidence in this product. ... show more

    • Amazing E-Bike & Exceptional Customer Service!

Stunning. Beastly. Exceptional. Absolutely could not love this e-bike more. I named it. It does everything it said it would, arrived with everything it said it would have, and makes getting around town both simple and enjoyable. This e-bike soars triumphantly over the hills I used to trudge along on foot, and it can still get up to 17-19mph up most of them. The battery is reliable and long-lasting, and the pedal assist option is a really great feature for getting some extra oomph out of the operation. It engaged easily once I started to pedal, and even though the tires are smaller, it still has that classic 'biking feel.' The chain pulls naturally and comfortably enough to pedal casually and up challenging terrain, and I've come to prefer the pedal assist function over motorized only. That being said, the throttle is incredibly responsive and makes for a very attentive ride if you need to make frequent and precise adjustments to acceleration. It's very useful at the park where I'm watching out for kids playing or cars crossing. The brakes are exactly what they should be, even when I'm zooming along at what feels somehow faster than 20+mph. It's a comfortable ride, and overall, the e-bike is easy to operate. I was impressed and pleased with the headlight, turn signals, and brake light - they're all plenty bright and noticeable. Folding feature works out for saving space, and the adjustable handlebars & seat height can make long rides or quick trips to the grocery store more comfortable, depending on if you wanna ride it all sleek like a speed bike, or with high handlebars, like a cruiser. The phone holder/charger is a really cool feature, making it easy to map out new routes and set some favorite destinations. For me, this e-bike was a total game changer; it's become my primary mode of transportation as well as my favorite weekend gettaway buddy. It does take like 6-8 hours to get a full charge, but so do I, it's fine. EBKAROCY Customer service also gets 10/10 stars! I contacted them with a question and I got a helpful response in very quick time. They navigated me through the inquiry process with clear suggestions and expertise, and then resolved my concerns well beyond my expectations. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase. I am beyond satisfied with the price, the product, and the high-quality customer service I received. I feel like this company takes pride in their products and in honoring their commitments to their customers, and as a result, it stands out above the rest. This E-bike is a great peace of machinery. For its price it has more features and comfort than the competitors. Obviously the competition may have these features but it’s on the high end bike or upgrade on the entry level that is already $200 or $300 more. Comes with turn signals, the fork and seat are dampened for smooth ride. The horn is loud and it has disk brakes that don’t squeak and are easy to fix if that would be the case. The alarm is great because it will go off if someone takes off with your bike this will bring attention and might scare them off from unwanted attention. The only thing, and this maybe a price issue, is that when you are assisted in peddling and it’s reach it’s 20mph you can’t keep up with the peddle. It feels like you are peddling in the air and I would have liked it to adjust to give more resistance at such high speeds. This is still 100% recommended e-bike. ... show more
