I bought these for my kids to take home lunches to school on days they don't have school lunch. After considering a variety of bento boxes, I settled on these since they are easy to clean and would be light weight for carrying to and from school. They have definitely worked well for us. We're able to pack a variety of foods really easily without worrying about missing tuperware. We parents also use them from time to time for picnics or taking home lunches to work. The plastic is much thicker than typical reusable tuperware. I also did a variety of leak tests and noticed that the compartments really only leak with each other, but I never got them to leak outside of the container. I did a ton of research leading into my son starting Kindergarten. I really like the idea of bento boxes, but didn't want to get the lunch box option because I'd only have one that I'd have to wash every single day. Or spend a lot to have two. Then I found these. My son is 5 and can easily open and close these on his own. They're perfect for a sandwich, fruit, and snack item. These are fantastic lunch boxes! They have lasted over five years, only the lids have shown wear and tear recently. Dishwasher cleaned, thankfully. They do not hold things like salad dressing or applesauce we’ll. Sometimes they have spilled those items. I just place a small container of those in the large compartment. The size is big enough to feed my kindergartener and my fifth grader! Thanks, EasyLunchboxes, for truly making lunch easy! The compartment sizes have been perfect for grade school kids. Having multiples is nice so you always have a clean one for the next day. One of the lids cracked along the edge of the indented area but customer service was excellent and replaced it promptly. These have definitely made packing school lunches easier. The portion sizes are great for kids lunches. It fits well in their lunch boxes and the lid gives a great positive snap when properly seated. Leakage between compartments isn't an issue but I still wouldn't recommend putting liquids like fruit with juice/syrup. These are great quality pretty heavy duty lunch containers with plenty of room for a full sandwich . They are not flexible so don't plan on trying to fit an apple or anything and close the lid. One of them came broken and they are SHARP so check for broken corners after a big drop

I was looking for a Tupperware like bento kinda box and these are perfect. I pack the kids apple slices, a sandwich and grapes. Perfect size for all areas. Tight lid but easy for the kids to get off and put back on. I really like these. They are just what I was looking for.
