    • Good way to learn!
My children recently got a keyboard. I was trying to find a way for them to learn something easy and fun. This book has all of the songs they remember from their early childhood. The notes are labeled which is nice and easy pieces to play for all beginners.

Easy songs, pretty simple to follow. Only a couple songs had notes and symbols that my 11 year old hasnt learned at school during his keyboard lessons. He knew all the songs in the book.

My six year old loves this book! She is still in the beginning stages of learning how to read notes, and this books made it simple enough for her to start playing pieces to feel more capable as a pianist which has increased her motivation to practice and learn. It’s more about following the finger numbers over note learning, but the notes are still being seen and recognized in the process of playing. ... show more

    • Perfect for Beginners
We were given a piano, but nobody in our family has ever played. On Christmas, all the little cousins were able to play at least one of the songs within the day. My niece learned four songs within an hour. It was great watching them. Perfect song list as well; there was something for everyone.

    • Great quality for beginner pianists
The cover of this beginner piano music book is great quality, simple and effective. There are 40 well-known songs and nursery rhymes with simple syllabic sheet music which are easy to follow. Having such common songs is great to support children’s piano skills independently. They can listen for any wrong notes and correct themselves. The book has great quality paper so you can’t see the sheet music from the other side. It is a great beginner’s piano songbook because there is just one page per song making it easy to use and read. There are clear letters above the notes and works with lyrics clearly below at the right note. The notes are clearly spaced out and most sheet music is between 4-5 lines for the page, with a few longer pieces towards the end of the book. Along with the full content page and clear page numbers, I think this makes for a good first piano book for kids and would be a great resource for adults to use when teaching young pianists. Kids would be able to master these tunes quickly and build confidence with reading music thanks to the letter support above the notes. ... show more
