Description

The Eastwood Abrasive Blast Cabinet will provide you with an effective abrasive blasting tool that is easy to assemble and has a large internal size. It also has a large top opening design that eliminates the need for side doors and allows you to place the cabinet against a wall in a shop. Plus, it comes with window liners and grip-textured gloves to ensure a secure grasp on all objects. For best results, use with a compressor capable of at least 7 cfm with 90 psi. Use with 60 grit or finer blast media. Use of Walnut shell media is not recommended Never use sand as a blasting media.

If I could give this a 10 star, I would. I purchased this item.When I received it, there was some damage to the top portion. When I contacted the seller, they listened to what I had to say..they were very professional, they told me they would send out all of what I would need. And …they did just that! They sent me what I needed, in a very timely manner..they were very kind, they responded to every question I had. I have not been able to use my blaster as I need to purchase the sand.     • Label Packaging Better?
I think Eastwood makes good products. Just a suggestion that they label products that have glass in them as "fragile" so shipping handles them carefully. Very annoying to get a new sandblaster just to have to wait for customer service to send new glass which takes weeks while you really need to be putting the blaster to work.... ... show more

I only gave it four stars because I have not used it yet, I guess I got lucky with no damage, shipping came faster than expected, I’m very good with putting things together and have to say this was a lot of work to put together, all pieces fit perfectly, the finish is beautifully y done, will make another report on how it works, until then extremely happy. ... show more

The unit work just fine for our purpose of removing water and chemical scale from parts that are submerged in that type of environment. We use a very fine glass media for that. This unit will serve us for quite awhile.

The item was slightly damaged and missing a part. Eastwood customer service said they would remedy the situation ASAP. I’ll let you guys know.

    • Well designed but poor quality control
Three days of putting this together, that’s too much for one person. Lots to like, lots to dislike. I’m on my second one thanks to a severely damaged package on the first try and still got damaged parts. The gloves are terrible. The blast gun is super cheap and looks used. Too much money for preventable issues. ... show more
