My son could already play violin as well as knowing his way around a guitar and bass. He had said a few times he thought saxophone sounded cool. So, we ventured into the wind instruments for Christmas. With a couple of Youtube videos, he was assembled and making a tune. In a week, he was belting out classic riffs from Baker's Street, Careless Whisper. A month later, he suddenly busted out the Cantina song from the original Star Wars by ear. We were all amazed how easy the sax is to learn. It's like the old school recorder you learn in elementary school, but with awesome sound and flash. No regrets! Truly a lifetime possession. I appreciate East Rock for creating this Saxophone. I donated the saxophone to Washington Elementary in San Diego, California in Little Italy. I had a Master Saxophonist, tune it for me. I even gave the lucky student who earns it a pair of my Oakley shades. Principal Juan Nunez is an Amazing Principal and a Great Leader. I performed live 20 times playing with the blue sax.
