Disappointing Experience with Eastern BikesI recently purchased a bicycle from Eastern Bikes as a Christmas gift for my son, and the entire experience left me thoroughly disappointed. The product I received appeared dirty and used, far from the quality I expected for a brand new purchase. What exacerbated my disappointment was the company's inability to address the issue and make the situation any better. Despite reaching out for assistance, the resolution process was ineffective, and I felt unsatisfied with the lack of effort to rectify the situation. This experience has not only tarnished my perception of Eastern Bikes but also impacted the joy of giving a special Christmas gift to my son. Quality of components was good. I had to do some tuning. Some items were way overtightened and ungreased Fortunately I know how to use a torque wrench and a grease brush. Added a chain tensioner because rear wheel wants to walk on the painted drop outs. My son has had this out on the pump track and skate park several times now and is really happy. A solid and inexpensive entry level bike. Way better than anything you will get at the big box store. I knew it would take a little elbow grease but it now performs like a much more expensive bike. ... show more
