I was skeptical at first, after watching the documentary on Amazon Prime , Earthing. But I decided to give it a try. It’s one thing to feel dramatic change within you, but when your significant other continues to comment on the very same changes as a witness it’s a testimony to how amazing the result are due to this product.     • Seems to work! I’m now the obnoxiously newly converted.
I was skeptical. Watched the video, the story appealed to me. It made sense that we evolved being in contact with the electro-magnetic fields generated by our planet. These fields protects us from solar winds, guide migratory birds…they r real. We r now, for the most part, insulated from them. If this could minimize the aches and pains of getting older, it was worth the investment of a few bucks. From the 1st night’s use I was a believer. I feel I’m sleeping better, the nagging inflammation in most of my joints is less noticeable & feel I’ve more energy throughout my day. I purchased 1/2 a mat & run it perpendicular to bed along the bottom on top of the sheets. Allows contact through my feet/lower legs w/o being too noticeable. I do not know if it’s a placebo effect, & really do not care. Sleeping better, feeling better…these ends justify the means. 😉 UPDATE: Still obnoxiously enthusiastic about the grounding mat! Six months of use has turned back the clock on the inflammation in my joints. I had started to repeat the line l had heard for decades from my father, “Everything hurts!”. Like him, the inflammation in my knees, elbows, shoulders was something that required “powering through”. I recently noticed that l never utter that phrase any more. My once achy joints r not the only signs of the reversal of the inflammation in my body. Most of my adult life I’ve produced copious amounts of ear wax & had morning bouts of coughing to clear phlegm from my lungs. This is no longer the case. I’m still sleeping better than pre-grounding mat, as a result have more energy throughout my day, recover quicker from a workout, even a persistent skin condition has cleared. The mat DOES NOT heal or fix these problems, what it does is allows ur body to operate in the manner it needs to, to naturally correct these issues.     • Doesn’t work with a sheet on top of it as stated
I absolutely love grounding … I’m reading the book. I bought the small mats and then the ones for the beds. It states that you can use a sheet over top of them. That is not true. I tested it tonight with a grounding tester and it won’t work through the sheets. I just found out tonight and I’m past the return time. I’m hoping the manufacturer will help me. ... show more

The grounding mat works! the first night we used it my husband and i noticed we had less pain than we usually had in our bodies. But the quality of the product is cheap. At first i thought it was coming apart because of the way my husband was sleeping, since it was only messing up on his side. But then my side started to come apart. My bedroom is a huge mess with this black stuff everywhere. I have to vacuum constantly due to the mats top layer always all over the room and house too sometimes. I used to be able to take the mat with me when i travel but i cant anymore because of the mess it makes. ... show more

    • Makes a difference in overall health
I haven’t had the mat very long. Just over a month. Results are good. Not as quick as others have experienced. My sleep is definitely more sound. And I am able to fall asleep more quickly upon waking at night.

    • Surprisingly effective
I was extremely skeptical about the effectiveness of grounding and this product but I was desperate enough to try anything. I kept all the packing materials to make it easy to return this when it didn't work. I've been averaging 3 hours of sleep for years due to pain. The very first time I used it I slept for 18 of 24 hours. It was broken sleep but it was higher quality sleep over a greater time than I have experienced in around 15 years. I have greatly reduced pain and sleep far better. I threw the packing materials away the other day and I will be ordering one or two for each bed in the house. ... show more

I believe there’s some science to earthing and it’s something I think should be incorporated into our lifestyles, but this product was a disappointment to me. For starters, no improvement in sleep whatsoever. Other complaints: I have a California king bed and the mat fit poorly and folded over on itself. The worst part was frequent waking, which I attribute to how hot the mat was to sleep on. It was also very noisy sending it back and I’ll just try to remember to take my shoes off now and then. ... show more

I have researched earthing and firmly believe that this is true. I sit on the grass and feel better, however this blanket does not make me feel better. Giving it a try for longer, but it's a hefty price for a product that does not appear to work. I was hoping the inventor's product, Clint Ober's would be the best.
