Good rug has a nice non-skid backing. The rug is quite thin so a little flimsy. Also, they sent it to me folded up instead of rolled up so had to roll it to attempt to get the fold marks out of it.

People are obsessed with thickness, but but that does not mean thicker is better. This is runner that was intended for decorative purpose. And it is washable, so easy to care.
