Great iPad. I'm an Android guy, Mac OS computer user so this is my first foray into iPad OS. Great screen, really fast processor, the fingerprint reader to unlock it and auto-fill passwords works perfectly. User experience is great. M1 processor which means that it runs all of the apps and has the OS app features that the pro models that cost multiples more do and have. You can run Final Cut Pro on it for example, you can't with the Air 4.0 or any of the regular iPads. Unless you somehow feel that you have a specific need for a Pro model, save your money and get this one. This refurb machine had fairly light use, it showed 91 battery charge/ discharge cycles, so what, maybe a year or less of average use before it got traded in? Lots of life left in it and Apple charges a little over $100 to replace the battery when it dies which is a lot cheaper than getting a whole new machine. Visually it was in perfect, like new condition, not a single scratch or mark on it. Seller shipped it very quickly. Unfortunately a brick and mortar chain put them on sale new for the same price I had paid for a refurb so I could not justify keeping it. I returned it and got the new one for the same price. New ones come with 90 day trials of all of the Apple apps (Music, TV+, Arcade etc) and Apple care, refurb machines do not. The seller dragged their feet with the refund, making excuses that spanned weeks, so I had to have Amazon customer service intervene which they did, because they rock. ... show more

This review is not about the iPad Air 5th generation (2022). It is about the stellar quality of this Amazon Renewed product and the incredible value I found in purchasing a refurbished device. The iPad arrived in a generic box that was in a well-protected outer package. I inspected it immediately and found no scratches or dents that would have caused me to return it. The included accessories were not Apple accessories, but they are compatible and they do not cause the iPad to complain. The device charges fine, has 100% of the original battery life, and is impossible to tell that it was refurbished. There were no device lockouts that I had to worry about. I was able to purchase this Amazon Renewed iPad with WiFi + 5G (unlocked) and 256 GB of RAM for the same price as a new iPad with just the WiFi + 5G option. I purchased the iPad with the Asurion 4 year plan because the only real drawback to buying an Amazon Renewed iPad is that you cannot get AppleCare for it. However, even with the Asurion 4 year plan I still spent less than I would have had I bought the same model brand new. In fact, it’s like I got the 256 GB memory upgrade for free! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Obsessed with my new iPad!! Such a great deal, and it works like it’s brand new. Originally I needed a new laptop for school but decided to just get an Ipad air 5 since I've been wanting one for the longest and it's so versatile!! As a 19 year old teenager, im on a budget lol and im also not against getting things refurbished at all. This ipad looks completely new!! Not one scratch in sight and also came with a charger!! The battery life is normal and doesn't burn out fast at all so im sure im able to get alot done before it's charging time again ( im one of those people who's devices is never charged so batter life is important to me!!) the color is beautiful and much brighter than I expected and screen is so clear making videos and pictures look beautiful, clear ,and vibrant!! overall im satisfied with my tablet and can't wait to use it more. The iPad looks and works like new. I was very concerned when it first arrived though, it was packaged very poorly. The iPad was wrapped in one thin layer of bubble wrap loose in a larger cardboard box free to slide around inside. Because of that it even got turned on and kicked into accessibility mode so it was talking the entire time until I finally got it opened up and that mode disabled.
