I will use this 8-piece Easonic Setup Blocks for setting up several tools in my woodshop. For example, they can be used to more easily set up blade height on a table saw, drill press quill depth, router bit height, and the distance of blades and bits from fences (as shown in one of my photos) than is possible when trying to set them while balancing a ruler. The blocks come in a protective, hinged, fitted plastic case with a foam liner that has slots that securely hold each of the 8 blocks. On the two larger faces of each block three of the four edges are marked with 1/16" hatch marks. The block thickness is marked on the on the top and bottom sides. Each block is red anodized aluminum with a matte finish. All of the labelling is white and appears to be painted on, giving a good contrast between the block color and the labeling. I used my caliper, which has an accuracy of .001", to measure the thickness of the blocks and they appear to be within the .001" accuracy claimed for the blocks. They are well worth the price and I am very happy with the overall fit, finish, and quality. ... show more

I've been setting up the height on my saws and routers with a small combo square for years. it works most of the time but it wasn't consistent. These are accurate and well made, easy to use, and I get the same results every time. Time saver and repeatable, easy to read, lightweight, and comes in a plastic storage box to keep them together. Let’s face it .. how accurate do you really need In woodworking? Very accurate but it’s not like your machining a part for the space shuttle. These are great and compared to the woodpecker ones ($$$$) they are a steal. I suppose the paint on the set up blocks might scuff a little but seriously, this is all the accuracy one needs (in the business or at home). Just my opinion folks - no woke comments required now 😉.
