The Simulation mode, coupled with customised CPU AI settings make for a really good game of football. If you use the default 'slider' settings, you'll probably absolutely hate the game (if you like to play creative, intelligent football). It's essential to customise the CPU AI settings for an enjoyable, more realistic game. If you don't do that, you'll end up playing against a really dumb AI that's totally obsessed with going forward, all-out attack mode, as if it's playing on a conveyor belt! I'm thoroughly enjoying this version- it reminds me of FIFA 16 is some ways, but obviously more modern and evolved- in terms of how the CPU AI plays, and the many graphical enhancements etc. If you customise the CPU AI behaviour settings, it really is possible to enjoy some great midfield battles! The CPU teams actually play fairly creatively and intelligently- and it doesn't feel like you're playing against a juggernaut that just has to score at all costs! It doesn't feel like you're playing against the same team, over and over again either. I only play offline, so for fellow offline players, this is definitely the best version of 'FIFA', I've ever played. I've been playing since FIFA 2001- so I've witnessed the evolution of the game. There have been versions that I have absolutely hated, and at one time I was far more of a PES player to be honest. The old FIFA games were pretty much arcade-type games. (I'm playing on the 4th update for the game- and plan to keep it on that- unless there are 'dramatic' improvements from further game updates.) I love to play using the 'Pro' camera perspective- and AT LAST- it's at 60fps!! The graphical updates for the Pro version might not be 'revolutionary', but they are definitely evolutionary- and in a really good way. The lighting and shadow detail is very good indeed, and the game looks a lot sharper, too! Oh, the Pro camera perspective is very challenging- and rewards patient build-up play. I love seeing the intricate graphics of each stadia. _______________________________ /// EDIT /// Well, as much as I enjoyed playing from the Pro camera perspective- I found it far too difficult to play at World Class/Manual settings. I'm now playing with the Broadcast camera: Height 2; Zoom 20. Used with the radar, it looks really good, and I can play far more creatively. These are my Slider settings: SIMULATION mode, with wind effects at medium/weather effects on. CPU sliders- AI Behaviour (CUSTOM): Tackle Aggression- CPU 58 Build up Speed- CPU 1 (one) Shot Frequency-CPU 49 First Touch Pass Frequency- CPU 47 Dribble frequency- CPU 6 Skill Move Frequency- CPU 14 Bear in mind that I don't play 'kick 'n' rush'- million miles-an-hour... I like to play creatively, with sound build-up play. I play with a fairly slow temp mainly, but of course sprint when necessary (analogue sprint: ON- so that I can vary the pace of my players). Yeah, EA Sports (Canada) have done a really good job this year- I'm honestly amazed- it's about time! :) (I play on (full) manual settings/'World Class' level.) ... show more

Horrible game, career mode is ruined. You can’t adjust positions like the previous game. You can’t make adjustment on a 4-3-3. I usually put olmo (CAM) in the midfield but I can’t covert one of the 3 Mids to a Cam. It says he’s out of position. Messes up the tactics since I can’t make my own changes to a formation. Stick to ea Fc 24 until they make the update. But it’s EA sports. So they won’t bring it back until EA FC 28 ... show more
