It was easy enough but that center, 4-point too Orr I as a pin and confusing. You have to go under the canopy to pull those arms down in order for the canopy bars to lock. Take down was confusing as well due to the center piece.

After a 10 day vacation we were packing up.while trying to close the corners together , the 2 corners on the same end , the bars coming off the end post refused to fold to allow it to close up. Too bad, we really liked it. Reported it to Amazon, another is on the way ... show more

Great product. It was windy, but we were prepared and had bought sand bags and went to the local hardware store and bought a 50 lb bag of sand to fill the 4 of them up. Worked great! I gave it 4 stars on the easy to assemble because it wasn't that easy. Maybe after a few uses it will get easier, but we struggled for first timers. No regrets. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
