I was a little concerned with the box condition and the scuffs. It was too close to the event to do anything about it. I can live with the scuffs. This thing set up so fast and easy! Take down was just as fast! You do need two people to grab opposite corners. This will get many years of use.

And went with the Ambassador because it was reasonably priced for as little as I'll use it. With some patience one person can set it up. The box the tent came in was ripped up pretty badly, corners ripped to shreds. Long tears all over sides of cardboard. I managed to get this out of the box and the saw bag holding the top of the tent was ripped open. That being said,I inspected all the materials and the only thing I could complain about was the tie that holds the folded tent tight for insertion to the bag was tied in an impossible knot. I got the tent up partially and got the cover on. So it all looks good. Not really able to assemble by one person, need 2 people. I can't wait to use this spring. It is heavy for me. I bought this for a very light glamping trip in a well-maintained, level, grassy campground; basically the equivalent of camping in a friend's backyard. In a light rain with mild winds this thing almost blew away and nearly took half my camp with it. It's so poorly built you could honestly blow this thing over with a strong sneeze. This is really overpriced junk, the poles are so thin I could probably bend them with my hands if I tried (and I'm not very strong!). The packed up size is about half of other canopies out there, and yet it cost the same price (if not more). That should tell you something. Oh, and if you decide to return it forget it - they will hold your money hostage. I sent it in for a refund due to it's defective nature, and now, two weeks after they received it, still nothing. I am out both this ridiculous canopy and my money. Save your dollars and look elsewhere; there are much better options available at this price point. ... show more
