We used this as a shelter for our dog to use the restroom under so he didn’t get wet . It has held up through ice and snow but we did use a broom periodically and stand underneath the tent pushing up on the canvas to make the snow and ice slide off so it wouldn’t get too heavy. We give this product an A+. (Weights sold separately) Update: suggestions. The roof frame needs extra poles because the heavy rain made the canvas droop and hold water making the hollow poles break. The canvas was still in tact so we kept it for other uses. But to be fair, we give it a B rating since it’s not meant to be semi-permanent or permanent but it’s still great for tailgating. 🏈 😊 ... show more

Have been involved local art fairs for years. The E-Z up brand of tents is always the favorite brand of participants. For over 20 years I have used this brand. Recently had to replace my 15 year old tent with a new model. The quality of the fabric and seaming is great. My only concern is the longevity of the metal canopy support structure. We recently purchased the EZ Up Ambassador Instant Pop-Up Canopy Tent, and while it has some great features, our experience took a turn during a windy day. Setup and Ease of Use: Setting up the canopy was a breeze. The instant pop-up mechanism is great, allowing me to have it ready in just a few minutes. Durability and Material: The materials feel sturdy, and the fabric is good quality. I appreciated the UV protection and waterproof features, which seemed solid based on other uses. However, my experience with durability was tested during an unexpected windy day. Wind Performance: Unfortunately, the canopy collapsed during high winds. We tied it down from the crown but didn’t stake it down to the ground, which I know is crucial for stability in windy conditions. While I expected some movement, I didn't anticipate it being blown over so easily. The frame bent beyond repair, which was disappointing. Overall Impression: This recent purchase is a replacement for the one that was ruined. We’ve learned our lesson and will be sure to stake this new one down for added stability. The EZ Up Ambassador has great potential for calmer conditions and is a solid option for casual gatherings. Just remember to secure it properly if you’re expecting wind! ... show more

Used this for a beach day. Easy to roll across the parking lot, not too heavy to carry across the sand- great handles. Was perfect size for 6 people. The only bad thing to say is it took some muscle to click the locking pins in place when setting up, but it was doable and pretty easy to take down. It definitely took 2 people to set up and take down though. It's a little tight putting it back into the carrying bag. Overall, it was nice, and I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the grey. It's a nice dark, classy gray. It shouldn't show the dirt. It is the quality for day use only. Not for long term weather exposure. ... show more

I bought this for a very light glamping trip in a well-maintained, level, grassy campground; basically the equivalent of camping in a friend's backyard. In a light rain with mild winds this thing almost blew away and nearly took half my camp with it. It's so poorly built you could honestly blow this thing over with a strong sneeze. This is really overpriced junk, the poles are so thin I could probably bend them with my hands if I tried (and I'm not very strong!). The packed up size is about half of other canopies out there, and yet it cost the same price (if not more). That should tell you something. Oh, and if you decide to return it forget it - they will hold your money hostage. I sent it in for a refund due to it's defective nature, and now, two weeks after they received it, still nothing. I am out both this ridiculous canopy and my money. Save your dollars and look elsewhere; there are much better options available at this price point. ... show more
