I don't have any complaints about this brow pencil. For the low price, I wasn't expecting much, but it works great! I'm new to filling in my brows, and I don't do much at all, as my brows are very light, and I don't want to look like an angry cartoon character. The picture is from the first day I tried it, and thanks to poor lighting, I accidentally used too much, so you can see my brows look more drastic and yellowed. But now that I've gotten used to it, I use a light hand and just fill in a couple sparse areas, and it looks much more natural. The brown color blends well with my blonde brows when used lightly, and it helps it look like I actually do have eyebrows. I also love the built-in spoolie tool on the other end - it works well. I have been using this brow pencil for several years and I have no need to look further. The color works perfectly, goes on smooth and has a natural look to it. I over plucked for many years but I'm able to lightly fill in sparse areas that give my brows a more natural definition so they don't look so thin, I also swipe some tinted brow gel over the top for a pretty polished look. This eyebrow pencil is a great buy for the price! I use the lightest shade which can be difficult to find. It does not seem to last as long as the more expensive brands, but it does stay on for the two hours I am at church. It glides on easy, pigmented, easy to use, just overall pretty good! If you’re an oily skin girly then you might not be able to wear it for long if your constantly touching your face. It does smear but I don't have eyebrows so maybe if your just using it to fill in then you wont have any issues!!

Pretty solid for the price. It applies well, lasts and the shade works. I’ve bought a couple times now and the cap on brush-end never stays on and the brush is always janky/cockeyed, but whatever. It’s $3.

I am new to the 'Elf fan club,' and not am glad to have signed up! I see why this line excels as a competitor to the pricier luxury lines. You need not be wealthy or take out a loan to look beautiful and well put together. May I begin by saying, it is more important to me that a beauty line be cruelty-free than anything else? Elf Instant Lift Brow pencil in Taupe is perfectly formulated with beautiful results and meets those qualifications. The liner is creamy but stays put and has a very convenient spoolie to neaten up the final results. Taupe is superb for anyone with blonde to light brown hair. It is tastefully noticeable, minus a drawn-on look that is aging. Brows look foolproof and natural, exactly what most users are looking for. The consistency is just perfect! I highly recommend Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil. It performs like brow liners/powders with an exponentially higher price point. Gentlemen, this is a win! I include the term 'gentleman,' as men are reaching higher numbers as consumers of brow products as the metro look is gaining popularity. However, most men want a nicer definition of brows, not an obvious fixed look. Great results for a cost of much less than a large latte from a coffee shop! One can't go wrong with these details. Thank you again, Elf. This line only gets better with each passing month and the offerings are getting better and increasingly competitive, with quality ingredients and appreciable price points!
