I lovvvved the look of the Straightener bc it matched my dryer! But shame on dyson. Why havnt they updated this thing yet? If you use oh hi it dies in 30 min and even putting it back on the charger in between use won't keep it alive. Plus part of the plastic on the edge starts popping up after use on high. Also, as aan AA woman with natural hair I don't think it gets hot enough for my hair... but rhis may be good for some folks idk but when I straighten my hair i cant have it wanting to puff right after. But honestly if the plastic thing ddnt happen and the battery issue was fixed I would have kept it. ... show more

I splurged on this straightener since it was on sale for Prime Day. I couldn't decided between it and the AirStraight, which was also the same price. I opted for this one due to the cordless option and the fact that I have the Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer. The reviews had me concerned for the weight of the straigtener and the battery life. Out of the box, I loved the wrap that it comes in. It will be very handy for travelling, as I can put the the straigtener into the wrap hot and throw it in my bag. The instructions were easy to follow. There is a sticker to show how to take it out of airplane mode (it is shipped in airplane mode), how to unfold the cradle, how to attach the charging cord to the cradle, and put the straightener in the cradle. Voila, straightener is charging. Pretty quickly, I was able to use the straightener. I have thick, wavy hair. I sectioned it into a couple of sections, powered the straightener to 410, and went to work. 7-8 minutes later my hair was soft and straight. I even used it to curl the ends. Full disclosure, I use pretty chunky sections. So I'm doing a fair amount of hair when I pull it through. I didn't have any tugging or yanking from the straightener when I pulled it through, which I get from my other straighteners. I also usually put my straighten at 430 when I use it. So being 20 degrees cooler, I was really happy with the results. When I travel, I'll still probably bring the cord, but not the cradle and just charge it every day. The charge is more than enough for me to do all my hair and I didn't notice a difference in the weight as compared to my previous straightener. Overall, really happy with my purchase! ... show more

Game changer - protects the hair cuticle and doesn’t pull hair while straightening- also, it’s a great to travel with. Definitely an investment but worth every penny

Still getting the hang of styling with tis iron. The iron is heavy but I do love the way that it straightens my hair on low heat. Pricey but so far I do like it. It is an investment, like the Dyson hair dryer so hoping it lasts a long time.

I was skeptical because I read all the reviews, both good and bad but really wanted to reduce the damage to my hair from straightening. I compared the Air Straight to the Corrale and due to my hair type (fine) I went with the Corrale. (The Air Straight seemed to be better for thicker hair.) I have other Dyson products and love them all, so decided to give it a try. I have had this straightener for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Yes, it is a bit heavier than a corded flat iron but it's so nice that it is wireless. If you do run low on a charge, it can be used plugged in while charging. I have not had any issues with not having enough time to straighten on a full charge as some people have said in reviews. Usually I can get 2 (possibly 3 if it's just a touch up) styles from one full charge. I really like it so far! ... show more
