    • This is the right answer for 6.4 challengers.
If you're looking for that deep classic muscle-car growl out of your scatpack without being obnoxious and raspy/poppy this is what you're looking for (the Vibrants sound almost exactly the same for 3x the price, they're straight-through race bullets, they're pretty much all the same) Replace the factory mufflers with these BUT LEAVE THE RESONATORS IN! Without the resonators your exhaust will pop like some kids poorly tuned Honda. If you decide it's still not loud enough (unlikely, unless your goal is to be obnoxious) you can always replace the factory resonators with another set of these down the line. It'll pop but not nearly as much as if you just deleted the resonators. Replacing the mufflers with these keeps the gorgeous sound of the 6.4 but makes it deeper and louder. Cold starts sound MEAN without pissing off the whole neighborhood and it really roars like a classic muscle-car when you're hard in the throttle. At idle or when you're keeping the throttle under 50% it's deep and rumbles but isn't "look at me!" loud, if you go easy you can roll into your neighborhood at night and not bother anybody. There will obviously be an increase in exhaust drone in the cabin but these cars are soundproofed well and it's nice to hear the engine, not bothersome at all even on long trips at highway speeds. If you decide it's too much in the cabin you can always just lay a soundproofing mat in the trunk and it'll quiet it right down in the cab. If you can't weld then make sure you take it to a reputable muffler shop and drop the couple hundred bucks to have these welded in, don't just hack the mufflers out with a sawsall and clamp the race bullets on, it'll leak and sound terrible. I have an 01 gmc Yukon with an aftermarket magnaflow and it sounds great but about 70-80mph it had a terrible drone I did my research and tried figuring out solutions then came across this product. It really did a great job getting rid of the drone in the cabin. It did not silence the sound of the exhaust whatsoever if anything it made it sound a little deeper.     • Deeper Exhaust Note
Bought 2 of these with the intention of eliminating any sort of rasp coming out my BMW aftermarket exhaust and not only did it do that but made the tone deeper. I'm absolutely loving it that I chose to keep the valves open from how bad ass it sounds now.

If you're looking at these you rpobably already know what to expect. They're loud, raspy and drone in most cars. The sound is raucous and appealling, but you may want to couple then with a resonator or another muffler depending on the sound you're trying to get. I'd personally look at something like a Black Widow AngryHouseWife for similar; albeit fuller sound, that probably drone less. ... show more

    • Nice quality makes the tone a little more deep
The media could not be loaded. Haven’t made the full exhaust and installed it yet, but I was hoping to kill some of the sharpness and noise of my turbocharged 351w. Seems to do that just fine sliding it onto the existing hood exit.
