  • Simple, Bright, perfect.
Size: 10" 4000K
Easy install, good price, lots of light!. Best of all no more bulb replacing!. Ignore the negative reviews, it's just people who order stuff and have no idea how to install it.

  • Looks Great!
Size: 14" Color-Changing
We have a newer house fitted with builder boob lights. We decided to replace with something more modern, and these fit the bill. I’m very happy with the way they look. No easier way to update our home. Installation was a little frustrating. I followed directions but I couldn’t get it flush with the ceiling. I took it back down and reinstalled this time without the mounting bracket directly to the conjunction box in the ceiling. It’s now perfectly flush! Also, the colors in my room look truer now.. I really like that part! I painted my door Urbane Bronze recently. After painting, the color looked like a murky brown.. not what I expected. With my new light, it looks like the perfect warm charcoal that I was hoping for. Also helped my cream painted walls look less yellow.. yay! I have the temp set at 3000k and it’s perfect! I just ordered two more for other rooms. ... show more

  • It Works as expected
Size: 12" Color-Changing
I needed to replace a few incandescent hall lights, that were old. This choice turned out to a good one for me. The unit is quite light, so installing it is relatively easy and simple. The holes in the mounting bracket actually matched my ceiling bracket perfectly, so installation was very easy. The base plate of the lamp has a switch where you can select (I think, between 5) different settings for the light) soft-warm, to bright-cold). I think it was a good value for for the price and an the purpose I had in mind. ... show more

  • Excellent light fixtures and very easy to install
Size: 12" Color-Changing
These are fantastic! Replace your existing ceiling lights in under 10 mins with these - really, they're super easy to mount. The instructions are clear and you don't even need them as the mounting is intuitive and just works. These come with everything you need including hardware and new insulating wire connectors. Remember to turn the circuit breaker switch off. Measure with a voltmeter or AC tester to ensure power is off before you start. Measure between the two wires and from each of the wires to ground. I really like that I can adjust the light color/temperature on these with a flick of a switch: more blue/brighter in the family room, more yellow/warm in other rooms. There are 5 different color temps to choose from built into these - a great feature. The dome on these is plastic but they look great once mounted. The ring that holds it up with the 3 studs is metal. I bought a bunch of these in different sizes and paired them with these smart dimmers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HGSCXB6 for most rooms, one of these in the family room so they lights turn on when you walk in while dark: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NMX9N24. ... show more

  • Provisionally, I like it
Size: 12" Color-Changing
[This review is for the 12” color-changing, 20-watts current draw, 1500 lumens output.] I just put this fixture in. I am very pleased with the light output, color and instant-on behavior. Despite initial worries, it fits nicely into the older, dark wood and oriental rugs scheme of our decor,. Product longevity––especially light output, and durability––remain to be seen. I give 3-star reviews to products that I review immediately, then raise or lower the rating after they prove their worth. This product is replacing a CFL fixture with magnetic ballast that shows a date of 2005 on the back. I tried to save it by replacing the two-prong, quad tube lights in the old fixture. But two different brands (SATCO and GE) purchased on Amazon would not start without an annoying flicker of several seconds duration. The old Panasonic-branded bulbs never did this. In reading reviews, I found that many other purchasers reported the annoying delay-on-start for CFL replacements. Then, by researching the problem I discovered that production of compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs was stopped in the United States after 2018 to reduce mercury residue in the environment. Some countries, including Hungary and China, still produce replacement CFL bulbs, but it seems they all have the annoying delay-on-start feature. INSTALLATION NOTES: The short version is that it went on pretty easily. I distrust all reviewers who report that they “put it up in 5 minutes,” or similar rubbish, recognizing that such reports invariably emanate from a macho male who thinks admitting he had a problem doing anything is equivalent to confessing a failure down under. I have been studying, fixing, and tinkering with almost everything I use since about the age of 10. I assure you that no job is done in 5 minutes; no job is completed without some problem, however small; and most jobs end up requiring some form of tinkering or innovation to complete. That’s part of what makes them fun. Five minutes is about the time it takes to open the packaging, examine the fixture, and remove the plastic diffuser. Then you start to think about the electrical connection required. As some reviewers reported failure right out of the box, I wanted to test the fixture first before installing it. I planned to do this by inserting the white and black wires into a wall outlet. (Don’t try this if you haven’t done it before). However, as I forgot whether the white or black wire is the hot one, and also which prong on my kitchen GFCI outlet is hot and which one neutral, I had to spend 10 or so minutes on the internet finding a trustworthy description (see diagram below). The pre-installation test went well, the fixture lit, and I also got to sample the color temperature choices. I liked the 2700K setting, which is most like the soft white of the incandescent bulbs of my childhood. I noticed that there are two concentric rings of LEDs (“bulbs”) built into the fixture. At the lowest setting, only the outer ring of diodes (a very yellow 2700K) lights up–– and very brightly. At the highest setting only the inner ring of diodes (a very blue 5000K) lights up–– also very brightly. The intermediate colors seem to be achieved by reducing the amount of current flowing to one ring of bulbs and increasing it to the other. Because a number of reviewers indicated failure of the fixture after a few months, I decided to choose the intermediate setting of 3,000K. Here the diodes of the yellow ring are still bright, but not the brightest, and the diodes in the blue ring are at their dimmest. My idea being that a lower current might prolong LED longevity. I was lucky in the install, as the two screws on the existing mount aligned very well to the two slots in the new fixture. If they don’t, the seller provides a steel adapter plate. You can have fun figuring out how to adapt it to your particular situation. When wiring, you will probably have to strip a half inch or so from the black (hot) and white (neutral) wire. This will make it easier to to attach them to the wires coming out of your ceiling box, using the orange screw-on wire nuts. I attached the ground wire coming out of the new fixture directly to the ground wire of the Romex feed wire of the house circuit, using an orange wire nut. (Romex ground wire needed cleaning at the end) . I probably should have also attached a part of the ground wire to the outlet mounting plate. I forgot this step, but don’t expect a problem from it. One thing to note when finishing installation is that the bottom plate of the fixture seems to be hard plastic not metal. So when you tighten down the attachment screws, go easy. Just get a snug fit, not one like you might use on a metal-to-metal attachment. Hope this helps. . . As I approach my 79th birthday, I notice I am becoming more and more like that guy whom you ask what time it is and he tells you how the clock was built. . . Thanks for indulging me. ... show more
