    • They works fine... not great under UV. Out of the sun they hold up to just fine.

These do not handle UV exposure very well. They survive for a number of months, but begin showing fading after one or two month. I'm located in a desert area with intense sun and not many cloudy days. The thermally printed tape holds up much better to UV exposure than the labels.

Labels are very durable. My only complaint is the the 450 prints lighter than on regular paper labels. Other than that the labels are very reliable. You can't tear them with your hands since they kind of stretch. Once removed they are removed they don;'t really stick again so I would say the adhesive is permanent. ... show more

These labels were purchased and used for plant markers, most were put into use last October. After one rain, they began yellowing, similar to pictures others have provided. Now, in February they are an ugly brownish color, still readable but disintegrating. Definitely false advertising, not durable like the Dymo durable tapes. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews. I had already been using the Dymo durable tapes, and they have lasted two seasons (some under water part of the year), so I mistakenly thought "durable" meant the same thing for labels as the tapes. ... show more

    • Should be better than plain paper labels for durability

Well, it has a clear plastic layer and looks like it should last a lot longer than the standard paper labels. But the labels of off-center and the printing doesn't line up evenly, top to bottom. No matter what I try there's a top margin I can't get rid of. We'll see how they hold up.
