    • Great keyboard, good value, even on a Mac

Update 2: The USB issues have been mostly solved, although the keyboard still can't wake my my from a deep sleep, while ever other connected piece can. On the other hand, since I switched to a different (and better quality) cable, I haven't had the situation where the keyboard wouldn't work until disconnected and then reconnected. Since I got the keyboard I've been using it exclusively and have a couple more notes: - The mechanism feels a bit scratchy. I'm not super happy with it, but it works okay. - The keycaps, when off, feel a lot less good than when installed. I don't have a lot of modern comparison, but compared to an Apple Extended II keyboard, these caps are low(ish) middle class feeling at best. - The hollow clacking when bottoming out (fairly easy on Cherry Blue) got on my nerves so I added o-rings on all keys, this made the keyboard sound less "hollow clacky", but also added a certain "mush" to the feel. Not sure what I like better, the hollow sound without the o-rings or the very slight mush with them installed. - I had to add some shortcuts through MacOS built in tools to get some of the functionality back. Mostly Ctrl-F12 as a shortcut for a restart. It's a bit unfortunate that I can't remap ScrLk and Pause, these keys just don't come through on the Mac tools I've tried, although I was able to map PrtSc to something more useful than the default "nothing": it shows the notification center side bar now, which works for me. - For ergonomic reasons I've added a wrist rest, since I found the keyboard plain too high to ergonomically use without one. It's unfortunate that you have to buy something extra to adjust this. - The media keys work, which is fortunate as it would have really irked me if they didn't. Overall I think this keyboard is okay. I just can't find it as great as some reviews want me to believe, maybe I'm just spoiled having used AEII and other nowadays "vintage" keyboards, that nevertheless were better than 99% of what's available today. If not considering the price, the keyboard would get three stars at best from me. Given the price and the currently existing competition I give it four stars, slightly reluctantly, but okay. Update 1: Unfortunately I'm having issues with the USB wake when the computer went to sleep. I've swapped the cable and port now to see whether it makes a difference. I hope this doesn't persist. It feels like I'm not able to wake the computer from deep, power saving sleep with the K320. And once woken up, the keyboard often doesn't work. The caps lock light shows, but nothing happens on screen. I have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard in this case. If this persists, I'll have to downgrade my review. For now I'll leave it as is, giving it the benefit of the doubt. Original Review: I"m using the K320 with a Mac and MacOS Mojave. Since there is no Mac software I've just remapped the Alt and Win keys to have swapped functionality. The media keys work, but are of course slightly different than on a Mac keyboard. I don't have much of a problem with that. I don't use it as gaming keyboard but as my daily keyboard since I wanted something with more hub on the keys and with the brown switches it's acttually pretty good for this. Not too loud, but of course louder than one of the super low profile Apple keyboards. What I like: - High quality switches - Good heft to the construction, it's not moving on the desk - High quality materials, mostly plastic but even that feels good - The keycaps are great, feel good and will probably last a long time - The included cables are decent quality and I appreciate that there is an USB-C cable included as well What I don't like or think could be made better: - I wish there was a good wrist rest included, but I understand the financial constraints - The cables could be a bit more flexible and braided - I'd love to have simple white backlighting, but I can live without - I wish there was a simple Mac software to create Macros and map keys like PrtSc, ScrLk and Pause - I think it could still be slightly quieter (dampened?), but maybe I'm just spoiled in this regard Since most nearly all keys work nicely, the missing Mac software is not a problem for me, it would still be nice to be have a Mac variant (Cmd key caps). I have a third party wrist rest on order and hopefully that will take care of the remaining issues I have with the ergonomics of a higher keyboard. I've been using this keyboard heavily for the past few months and it's been a great experience. Without maintaining the keyboard with lube or anything, it will still be in great shape. Although, there is a small noticeable difference when I press a well-used button vs a button that I barely use. The less used button, like the F12 button, felt a bit smoother to press on vs the alphabet buttons. Or perhaps I'm crazy. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend this keyboard for it's price (I got it at 100 bucks at the time I believe). ... show more

It's really hard to find a sub-$100 keyboard with real Cherry MX switches. I don't need or want RGB lighting so this basic keyboard with good switches hit the spot perfectly. It feels nice to type on with no spring ping at all.

    • Feels AMAZING to type on. The best Cherry MX TKL in this price-range!
Size: Cherry Brown Color: Corona ( White Backlit)
I got the K320 Corona(terrible timing with the name btw) with white backlighting and Cherry MX brown switches. Coming from a Quickfire TK, and a Corsair Strafe, both with Cherry MX brown switches as well, the Durgod K320 blows them out of the water. I purchased this as someone who watched many keyboard reviews online from channels focused on mechanical keyboard, and the Durgod K320 came up often as a keyboard with build quality and materials on par with keyboards 150$-250$. Here's what sets it apart: +Doubleshot PBT keycaps. Most keyboards in this price-range come with ABS keycaps, and these feel WAY BETTER to type on. Hard to explain but they just feel way more premium and like butter on your fingers. They are also way more durable, and being double-shot means the letters on the keycaps won't go away overtime. Double-shot PBT keycaps alone cost 20-30$ for a full-set, so it's great these are included considering the price. +Quality stabilizers and lubing Again, difficult to explain unless you've tried it. These primarily affect the spacebar and shiftkeys. They feel way better to press, and the sound is more clean. My old mechanical keyboards feel loud and rattly in comparison. +Overall build quality and weight The keyboard material is like high quality plastic, and there is an iron or steel backplate that really gives it much more weight and heft. This WILL NOT budge on a desk. Makes the entire keyboard feel very premium and high quality. +Clean attractive legend The color scheme may not be for everyone, but I appreciate how non-gamery the typeface for the keycaps is. This will look just fine in an office environment. +TKL layout I have just found this way better overtime then the typical full-sized keyboard. Unless you use the numpad often, TKL is better for gaming while having all the necessary functions of a regular keyboard. What I don't like or find lacking compared to other keyboards at this price point: -The lighting isn't even on the keycaps and isn't RGB White backlighting is sufficiently bright, but for keys with more text like the CapsLock or Enter key, the lighting is focused on the center of the key and then dims on the corners of the key, so the the entire text isn't lighted evenly. A lot of keyboards at this price-point have RGB and more evenly lit keys. -Durgod logo is too loud and ugly The Durgod logo is on the bottom front of the keyboard, and is just "DURGOD" in an ugly font. I would've preferred a smaller text size or a more discrete logo that matches the keyboard's otherwise minimalist aesthetic. -Lack of different switch types For a majority of people Cherry MX switches will be a huge upgrade from membrane or chicklet-style keyboards, but for mechanical keyboard enthusiast, Cherry MX switches leave a lot to be desired. It would be nice to see this keyboard or a future revision with Kahilh, Gateron, and other switch-types. Hot-swappable keyboards are becoming more common and will allow users to swap out switches to try out new ones. Overall, this keyboard is fantastic and is an amazing value for what you get in terms of build-quality and keycaps. Look elsewhere if you want something more gaming-focused and with a variety of lighting affects. ... show more
