Dura-Dressing tire dressing is a polymer coating, not silicone or oil-based, so it’s not greasy or oily. It dries completely to the touch, is waterproof, washable and doesn’t turn brown. Race tested to 160+ mph with no sling. It’s water-based, eco-friendly, non-flammable and does not include silicone, oils or solvents. The tire cleaning kit includes everything needed to strip off your old silicone-based tire dressing and create a perfect palette for the new clear coat to stick to, in one convenient package. You’ll not only save money, but time, too. Includes: 32 oz. Dura-Cleaner Nitrile gloves Tire Cleaning Scrub Brush 8 oz. I should have listened to the negative reviews. I used this exactly to their instruction, cleaning thoroughly and literally using up the bottle. I made multiple coating applications drying them up before re applying and the following morning used up what is left. Only after a week, I went to just a regular gas station for car wash and to my surprised a great portion of all my tires coating got washed out. Buyers beware this is fake advertisement and not real. I used it for my brand new RX350 which basically have not much tire gums or residue but still I used up the cleaning liquid material as instructed.     • Use Caution Before Using with Raw Aluminum Wheels!

First off, this review is not to say this product doesn't work, but it is a warning to others if you try it with uncoated/raw aluminum wheels. I started the cleaning process, which requires the tire cleaner and scrubbing of the tire. In the instructions, it does mention not to use it in direct sunlight and not to let the cleaner dry on wheels. As I scrubbed the tires with the supplied brush, there is obviously a mist of product that is produced during the scrubbing process that ended up on my wheels. The tire and wheels were immediately rinsed so it did not dry on the wheel. Just the quick contact with my wheels stained my aluminum wheels so bad it took hours and hours with nearly an entire jar of metal polish and a Mothers drill mounted polishing wheel to get the staining out. Due to this unforeseen headache I decided I will not be using this product and I did not finish my application. I will simply stick with regular tire shine. Before you buy this product, familiarize yourself with the return policy. Apparently if you are not satisfied, they won't just take it back. You'll need to jump through a few hoops with video and picture documentation of how you cleaned and applied the product. ... show more

I have put this item in and out of my cart several times since I heard about it. I've seen the videos many times. And I read the negative reviews. Finally I took a chance that I could follow the instructions and it would work. As you can see, It does work. I wiped it with a towel and my hand and both stayed clean. As with other reviewers, the stress is on cleaning the tires properly. Just do it and you wont need to put inferior tire shine products on your tires every time you wash your car. The Dura tire shine itself goes on a bluish white, which scared me at first, but by the time I was finished with all four tires the product was clear and shining. So far this stuff is amazing. The cleaning process is a pain in the butt but that’s whatever. You gotta do what you gotta do to make sure the product works right. The cleaner it came with as an extra bonus cleaned my calipers 😂 Applying the actual product was super simple. Make sure you give it time to dry dry before you drive. I waited a whole day. But that’s because I’m a loser and have nowhere to be. Shout out Covid-19. Once fully dried it’s super shiny and if you touch it none of it will transfer to your fingers at all. I’ve since taken a 500 mile round trip with this on and it’s still good to go. Washed my car as well and still going strong. ... show more

This stuff is the best tire shine ever!!! I will never use other “tire dressings” again 💯 everyone that has bad luck with this product didn’t prep the tires correctly I’m telling you that is the hardest step making sure the tires are free from old silicones dressings debris etc clean you tires use this u won’t regret it ‼️‼️ I have a black vehicle and was tired of other products slinging off I can assure you this product does not best stuff ever✌🏻 ... show more

Since I'm stuck with this product, I'm going to try and use it on another vehicle. This is partly my fault because I got it for my brand new truck tires. I did not realize the way this stuff needs to be applied is not good for all terrain type tires with raised letters and side biters. You can't get it inside the small recesses and they want it all wiped evenly. I painstakingly prepped all the tires then proceeded to use the shine on 1. Ended up washing it off right away because a spray shine will be more practical for this case. Reading the instructions and doing the job are two totally different things. Scrub with cleaner (dont get it on wheels), rinse, let dry. Repeat that 3-5 times. Even on brand new tires they want 2-3 washes. Will update if I use it on my car with better results. ... show more
