  • Good paint and match
Style: Chrysler Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Color: Flame Red
These small cans dont go far for wet coverage. Had to go to four different auto shops to find 3 cans of Duplicolor PR4 to finish job. Average cost from auto shop.. $17.77 with tax. Amazon is less expensive. As common as PR4 is, auto shops usually have only 1 can inventory. WalMart SuperCenter had none. Alas, had 1 can from Amazon with bad nozzle. Switched a nozzle from empty. Prob solved, but i have seen other reports on You Tube for similar issue. Bad nozzle messed up paint and took some effort to fix. Have to wonder why nozzle issue. Personally, wud like to get Duplicolor in 12 oz can with better nozzle, even if slightly more expensive cost/oz. Rustoleum Primer can, for example. Specialty blenders get double the money, even on Amazon. ... show more

  • Great match, easy to use
Style: Toyota Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Color: Classic Silver
I have a 10-year-old Toyota that suffered a mild sideswipe in a parking lot. A metal took the paint right down to the metal in a long, thin line. It was not worth having it repainted, so I thought I'd give this a try. It worked much better than anticipated. Almost a perfect color match and looked far more metallic and like real paint than any touch up pen or paint from a can I've seen. ... show more

  • Worked Great Finishing My Guitar in Metallic Candy Apple Red
Style: Ford Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Color: Candy Apple Red
I’ll just get the negative part of this review over with now. When I received the can I couldn’t help but notice it was about half the size of any other spray paint can. With that said I had more than enough for one guitar. Now with out of the way. It went on effortlessly. Nice smooth, even coats and dried amazingly fast. Didn’t have any fish eye. Slight over spraying with the metal base coat but that was my fault and was easily sanding out. The thing is in order to get it to look good you need to get all the prep work done correctly. If you don’t it’s your fault you did a shitty job. Not the paint. Of course you are going to want to use a primer first. Then they sell something called metal cast 100. Very important. You need to use this stuff if you are spraying anything not metal like wood. if you want your color coat to look like metallic red. It’s the color of metallic silver so when you spray your transparent red over it you get the metallic look. Second anyone who says that the paint or the nozzle doesn’t flow evenly. Here’s a tip that will save you a lot of time and hassle. They have these attachments for $5 a piece that attaches to any spray paint can and turns the uneven spraying into fine and even coats as if you were using a paint gun. If you are trying to paint something with a rattle can and you keep have problems with running paint and/or overspray and you don’t use this simple device I honestly have no sympathy for you. When used with one of those you will have great results. If you don’t then you have no one to blame but yourself. Also to those of you you have said the nozzle stopped working. Odds are the hole that the paint comes out of just has dried paint blocking the paint from coming out or coming out evenly. Simple soap and water should fix that (how did you swap one cap for another with this paint?). For best results remember this anocronym AKCM Always Keep Can Moving Never let your hand stop moving if your finger is in that trigger. Especially with colors like these. Otherwise it will look uneven. Darker in some spots and lighter in others or the dreaded overpainting an area. If you make a mistake you don’t have to start over. Remember just be patient and let it dry and you can then just sand the mistake out. ... show more

  • Matches my Crown Vic police car perfect
Style: Ford Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Color: Oxford White
I am finally selling my old Crown Victoria, so for some reason I felt it needs to look better for a new owner than it does me. All four corners are scuffed, but being too lazy do do things right, I just hit them with some find sandpaper to round off edges and scuff it up, wiped with down with alcohol, roughly masked around the edges, and sprayed 2 coats of this on. Now it looks great in photos and you have to point out where the damage was. I should have done this years ago, but then I would have had to care about the car and then wash it regularly. ... show more

  • This Paint Sucks.
Style: General Motors Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Color: Bahama Blue
The extent of the paint on the can is on me as I made multiple attempts to make sure it was mixed fully and then tried again. And again. And again. I started a guitar project last year and used this same paint with no issues. I needed one more can to finish the front of the headstock because of my own screw up. Since then (Fall of 2023) every can of Duplicolor (blue, white and black) that I’ve bought just pours out of the bottom of the sprayer. All of the tips appear to have a split in them now where the older ones didn’t seem to or it didn’t affect painting. The paint sprays out of the tip but also pours out of this split and fills the cup at the top of the can and then overflows and runs down the can. It also splatters from the air pressure forcing it out of the cup and onto the project. The paint is not only on the guitar project but also now on my lawn, my patio, my garage floor and my clothes. The damage is again on me because I kept trying to use the paint instead of giving up on the project, but the guitar body was done with the same paint and was fine. I ordered more paint (black and white) for another project when I initially ran out and before buying the extra blue can and that’ll never get used, along with the matching primer. On a side note the 1K glossy clear coat pulled off of the guitar body with painter tape after not being touched for months. I had been super happy with the paint, primer and clear on the body (until it pulled off) and recommended it as very forgiving to runs and mistakes but I won’t be using it again. ... show more
