We bought this shower speaker with not so high expectations because it was for the shower and well, we really didn’t need anything too fancy. Let me tell you… this is literally the best shower speaker we’ve ever bought! The sound quality is amazing!! The bass to it is what got me. I jam out to my 90’s and 2000’s hip hop/rap like I’m back in the good ol days. So far it seems like it’s very durable and water resistant and the lights that are on it are fun too. My only tiny complaint about it is that when my husband is in the shower talking to me on the phone through the speaker, it’s a little hard to hear sometimes. Like the speaker picks up on the sound of the water a little bit but maybe he just splashes around a lot too. Who knows lol overall great product! We’ve enjoyed our shower concerts! ... show more

I had a shower speaker for a year that I thought was fine until the charge port rusted out from the steam. So I replaced it with this and man...this one is SO MUCH nicer. The old one I'd charge every 5 days or so. This one can let go for a lot longer. I forgot to charge it for two weeks and when I remembered, only one of the bars was gone from the battery icon. It could have gone for a month! And the charge port has a very secure rubber flap that closes over it and keeps moisture out. And the volume is surprisingly loud. And not that it matters as much to me, but I like the design and lights more, as well. Aesthetic is not something I care a lot about in the shower, but this one is nice to look at. I've had this one about six months--I wanted to give it a while before writing a review--but I can say I highly recommend it so far (if for nothing more than the battery life alone). ... show more

This is a pretty decent speaker to use inside of the shower. I had a nice (but oddly somewhat dated-looking) speaker by Hromen, but always found the sound a little muffled, as the speaker was trapped between the window and the back of the device. This DuoTen speaker has a very clear sound and can get quite loud. As its speaker faces out, there is no muffled quality and it's clear as day. I really like the retro red LED display. My only major complaint is that the bass is weak, which you might say is just the nature of any speaker this small, but this is not always the case. I personally find the layout of the buttons less than intuitive, but you can get used to it. Dedicated volume buttons, instead of volume+skip buttons that require long vs. short presses to differentiate functions, would be better. It does have LED lights with several settings, but I'm rather indifferent to them, especially since the 7 colors don't include orange (my favorite color); I'm also usually frantically shampooing and washing my body while using this, which means my eyes are usually closed, and not open to enjoy a light show.. A minor complaint is that, for supposedly having Bluetooth 5.0, it often cuts of the first 1-2 seconds of the next song that comes on, and this is when paired with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, with all the latest software updates, no more than 8 feet away. I sometimes wonder if, as I've often experienced with inexpensive Chinese-made Bluetooth products, this item might actually be Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.2, and though they may have come out with a version that actually is 5.0, they are boxing old ones with 4.0/4.2 in boxes proclaiming 5.0.     • I got this speaker to help with my child's night terrors

Sound 5⭐️ The power on and off sound is not something that can definitely frighten a child who may already be scared of the dark or what they see, hear etc At the time my child needed a bit more light and reassuring that she was okay. The power sound(s) did not wake her up when I turned off the Bluetooth connection. It is a simple thing that helped her tremendously and I am extremely grateful that things like this exists. I love my music loud af. I will not hear my children scream because of my ear pieces. Now when I say I will never have this small speaker up to 100% its not because I don't wanna brake it.
