Size - I normally wear a women's 8.5 US. The product page suggested a 9 for me so that's what I got. It's a bit wide and large with regular socks but fit's well with thicker winter socks (as shown). I think if someone is a Size 9-narrow, they might want to try these before they buy. 1. COMFORT... Inner soles are NOT comfortable as expected. I weigh 185lbs so that could be a factor. I can feel the "memory" insole with my fingers but it's not comfy to wear & feels like a really hard insole. I bought insoles that help a lot. The tops can be scratchy against the leg. This might get better with wear. For now, I wear socks high enough or tuck in my pants. 2. STYLE & DESIGN... The boots are super cute on. Looking at them out of the box, I thought they look big. After putting them on, I love the look. The material really resembles actual smooth suede. ... Because of the suede-like material, the black color is more charcoal-black than jet-black. I like that. ... The laces are cute & I like the wrap-around look. I also love that there is a zipper so I don't have to tie/untie the laces. ... The short zipper is badly made & sticks. It's not meant to be unzipped, I guess but I accidentally did. I thought it would be permanently stuck halfway or break but I managed to get it closed. ...The long zipper works much better & that's important since it's the one you have to use. ... I like the way the rounded toe is made - like a work-boot design. 4. WALKING... I wore these for the first time on both water (just shallow, not even past the sole of the boot) and ice (very light ice where the water froze on the ground in spots). I'm going to find something to waterproof them and I think these will be great for winter walking. OVERALL... I think these are a tad over-priced but they are cute & the style I was looking for. Now that I have the insoles, I don't have to return them because of fit or comfort issues. Only time will tell how durable these are. I don't hike or do a lot of walking so we will see. I won't buy boots from this brand again. They are nice now but I had to spend an extra ten dollars for decent insoles. ... show more

    • Run big!!
I actually love these. I have wide feet so I initially ordered an 8W and they were too big. There were not any 7.5W in stock so I took a chance with the 7W and surprisingly perfect once I put insoles in them (because they are for work). Amazon recommended I get an 8.5 really not sure why but just wanted to let people know they do run big. I could probably fit in the 6.5W but without insoles(& I’m normally an 8!). That said I’ve been looking for short boots for maybe four months and this is the only thing I’ve found I liked & fit well. Everything is just so combat boot or shiny not my style. These are great (I would update my post with how long they last but since I’m going to be wearing them for work they won’t last as long as they normally might. I’m a waitress so I walk A LOT. Nothing lasts more than a year at best) ... show more

Nice suede like material but it scuffs easily. I still love the boots though and like the scuffed look as it gives the boots a rough look. The soles are nice with good tread. They wear well in a couple inches of snow.

These boots are super comfy for all day wear. They fit as expected and cute too. Side zips for adjusting for pant tuck without unlacing is a nice feature.

Super cute. Have received many compliments. I usually wear size 10. Initially I ordered 9 1/2 wide width since I have wider feet. My feet swam in them so I returned and ordered a regular 9 1/2. Still kinda big. Im sure will be okay with thicker socks. They do "squeak" which I hate. Not sure if I will order black pair. ... show more

Honestly, I didn’t expect them to be so comfortable and good looking! They became to be my new favorite boots, the size fits perfect and they’re so comfortable, I am very picky with certain kind of shoes especially boots because of my flat feet, but these boots passed the test, I loved them!
