Description

Recessed dryer box, the dryer can now be pushed up against the wall of the laundry room instead of having to be positioned 5" to 6" away from the wall in order to accommodate the dryer duct. The duct will also be completely protected from crushing and lint build-up will of course be minimized due to the limited bends. Dryer box also has the additional features of a built-in draft blocker to help reduce cold air backdraft into the home as well as an oval to round duct adapter which requires no clamps to connect to the duct and eases installation.     • Cheap, flimsy, garbage
I bought this thinking it would look nicer than the metal ones, while it does look nice the brackets didn’t fit on or lock in once in place. I ended up having to modify the clips and tape them to hold it just long enough to install. The cover trim falls off easily. All in all super disappointing.

    • Doesn’t seam to be for a 2x6 wall
Doesn’t seam to be for a 2x6 wall had to move my pipe to the front side of the wall witch only had about 1/6” left of bottom plate. Also the side mount brackets kept falling off so had to put a screw In them. Not sure how well it will hold up after Sheetrock.

Fairly easy to install. I was doing a remodel with steel studs. Someone previous open a big hole with a hammer and left it. Also cut out some of the steel studs. I had to rebuild some of the studs to get a place to mount the box. Drywall guy finished around it. Should be a much neater installation even though no one will see it! ... show more

    • Poor Quality and very flimsy I didn't installe it.
This sounded like a great item that can save space and minimize flex hose pinching in the back of the machine. Well, since the quality is inferior, I didn't use it. I missed the return deadline for one day, and now I'm stuck with it.
