We invested in a really nice outdoor sofa but the cover that they offered with it was almost $400. I did a quick search paying attention to the measurements and details, and found this cover. It fits extremely well covers all the way to the ground and seems to be really durable and totally waterproof. It helps to put some other cushions and pillows in the center to make sure the water runs off otherwise it can collect in the seating area. It would be cool if there were other colors but I understand their branding and actually like it now.     • Just got them and they're fading fast!

We bought two 54-inch love seat covers and two 36-inch patio chair covers which have been on our furniture on and off for just barely over a month. We’re already noticing them fading quite a bit, which worries us when it comes to the quality and ability to protect, but which is also a concern aesthetically since the top looks very different from the sides now. It hasn’t been very long…is there adequate sun/UV protection? Are the materials going to flake and leave residue on our furniture? Is it going to look horrible before the summer’s even over? The reviews we’d read for Duck Covers indicated they were high quality, and honestly it seemed like they were at first. Given that the covers become a not-insignificant amount of the total furniture purchase, it seemed like they were a good investment with strong materials and smart design. But now we’re a little worried. I didn’t want to go on Amazon and just review-slam, since maybe we just got a bad batch or something like that. But I would like to know what our expectations should be on these….should they be fading so quickly, and should we expect other issues from the material degrading? Well, all of that is pretty much what I asked Duck Covers, and the response I got was: "We have designed our covers to provide protection for as long as possible, however, exposure to UV rays will eventually cause fading. Fading means to lose color or brightness. Fading does not affect the functionality or durability of our covers." Well, that's fantastic.... UV rays will eventually cause fading, sure, but after 4 weeks? And I'm not sure that giving me a definition of fading really answers my concern about how much and how fast and whether that's normal or whether I have a bad batch. When I responded to that, I was told "some of our customers file a warranty claim after a year due to fading. We can't answers the life span when it last." So they're encouraging a warranty claim filing every year? And I can't even be sure what that last part means. It seemed like Duck Covers was going to be a solid product worth supporting due to the quality and the customer support. Very, very quickly that doesn't seem to be the case. ... show more

This cover actually fits and protects the entire love seat. We have been through the rainy season but not through snow yet, but I am confident it will handle it fine. The quality is superior! The stitching is heavy duty and complete. The straps hold to the love seat even in the high winds that we have had. Duck Covers are exactly what I was hoping for in outdoor furniture covers! They are durable, fit well on my various sized furniture and stay on in our very windy location. We've had lots of rain, wind and direct sun since purchasing these covers for our deck furniture (2 swivel rockers, 3 seat sofa and coffee table). They've met every expectation for summer conditions. We get a lot of rain and Sun in the mid south. Our first set of outdoor furniture covering have held up well except for the sofa covering. It’s made well of apparently good fabric. If I had one suggestion to designers/manufacturers of such coverings, it would be to integrate a drainage system such as a tube in the spot most likely for water to pond during heavy rain that the user could position to run off the side and to the deck to prevent that nuisance ponding. ... show more

Packaged very well. Dimensions were true to description. Easy to use on furniture. Covered completely and secured easily to legs of furniture. Durable feel and stitching was accurate without a bunch of threads hanging off like those found in cheaply made items. Heavy canvas exterior with waterproof lining. As with all outdoor fabrics, a yearly application of silicone spray will ensure water repellency yay after year. Very nice looking product! ... show more

Really is waterproof. This is worth the money. Have used it over 7 months, no rain ice or snow has made it to the cushions. Plus my 3 dogs jump on it after they go in the pool and rub off on it , very pleased with the durability.
