  • Great quality
Color: Jet Black
Perfect! Works exactly as it should, great quality. You can tell a weight difference between this controller and the cheap ones as this one has a lul more weight to it

  • Good controller
Color: Gold
Been using it for years and it finally got stick drift not too long ago but for the 4 years it didn't have it, it worked perfectly.

  • Perfect!
Color: Midnight Blue
This Midnight Blue DualShock 4 is a classic for a reason! It feels great in your hands and the buttons are responsive and comfortable. The touchpad is surprisingly intuitive and the light bar adds a cool touch. I've had mine for years and it's still going strong. Highly recommend!

  • Comfortable bluetooth controller w/ unfortunately short battery life. Good for all types of games.
Color: Magma Red
This is my go-to Player 2 controller for PS4 and Nintendo Switch** (More on that down below). The Dualshock family of controllers has always been comfortable to grip, with pretty alright shoulder buttons, a decent directional pad and can take a good amount of abuse. Personally, I find the Dualshock 4 to be Playstation's best controller. The shoulder buttons/triggers are impressive and the controller buttons are very durable. The control sticks feel amazing. I am unsure why my PSTV doesn't like the PS4 controller. I have 2 complaints about this model, however. The first is that the battery life is laughably short. 4-8 hours as advertised, but on and off usage tends to give it a bit more time before draining completely. The nature of its bluetooth antennae allows it to be pretty quickly synced up to other devices including different PS4s, PCs, laptops, tablets and more. The other complaint is that Sony made it very difficult to open up this controller for repairs. This was done by design to prevent consumers from fixing them themselves. Once inside the controller's face, you must carefully disconnect a ribbon cable and then take out the battery to reach the other parts more easily for cleaning, replacing and fixing. The modular nature of this controller's guts however makes many of the fixes of problematic components easy with a bit of soldering for those who don't want to send their controller out and pay Sony to fix it. **Finally, let's talk about the Nintendo Switch. With the help of a reliable bluetooth adapter like 8bitdo's Retro Receiver (A 20 dollar accessory any multiconsole gamer should have), it is possible to use the DualShock 4 (and many other bluetooth controllers) with the Switch. In order to connect, you hit the sync button on the receiver and then hold the Share and PS/Home buttons simultaneously. This will make the controller light up. You will know if you are successful if the light flashes in doubles and then stays blue. The ONLY issues this presents is that A and B are swapped (Circle/O confirms and Cross/X cancels in menus) and the Switch will never show playstation buttons on its games, so you may need to experiment at times to figure out which PS4 buttons are the equivalents on a Switch Pro Controller. Triggers on PS4 are the Switch's Z shoulder buttons. L1/R1 are the bumpers.) Overall, fantastic color and controller. Highly recommended. When in doubt, always stick to 1st party accessories. Five Stars. ... show more

  • Works, but stiff at first
Color: Magma Red
The controller was completely fine. It felt a little stiff at first, but that was probably because it was newer/not as used. It connects, and had no drift.

  • If you game a lot, you will notice a difference
Color: Jet Black
This new version of the DualShock controller is definitely worth replacing your old ones with. I do a lot of gaming (4-8 hour sessions, 5 days a week) and my old version controllers were starting to get pretty worn out. I was looking to hold out for the new E-games endorsed controllers that are dropping later this year but when I heard this was available and read the specs I thought it would be worth trying them when they dropped to $40 sale price. What was appealing to me was the longer battery life and ability to "hardwire" the controller with a microUSB for basically 1:1 input (no input lag) A few notes about this controller: 1. Hardwiring a PS4 is EXCELLENT and long overdue. If you are a casual gamer or play games that do not require a lot of precision movement, you may not notice a difference. If you play a lot of FPS or fighters at a high level, you will notice a difference with this controller. Playing Destiny last night I found that the trigger pull to my gun firing was instantaneous. Turning was quicker and more precise, I even noticed being able to move through menus quicker. My old controllers must have been more worn out than I thought. If you are going to hardwire, a few important things to note: - Make sure you go into your "Device" settings in your PS4, then under Controllers make sure to select it to run off of USB instead of Bluetooth. This only works for this new gen Dualshock controller, not the old ones. - Make sure you have a microUSB cable that is long enough for your gaming / seating setup. I generally like to buy things that are bigger than necessary so I pulled the trigger on a two pack of 10' long cables for like $8 ([2-Pack]Micro USB Cable,10FT/3M Extra Long Type A Male To Micro-B Male Charging Data cord For Samsung Galaxy S4 S6 S7 Edge Note 4 5 LG G3 G4 Android Canon Nikon camera MP3 player. I am glad that I did, because the risk you run when hard wiring is the cord getting pulled and you going dark during a game. I did not have this happen while playing but when I put the controller down for a quick break it disconnected. Note for if this happens: Make sure you plug the controller back in and hold down the PS button to reconnect it. So the theme here is if you're going to hardwire make sure you get a cord that has plenty of slack for your seating setup. 2. The buttons and joysticks have a nice, improved matte feel to them. The triggers feel crisper and have a slightly heavier trigger pull (again, probably more noticeable due to my old ones being worn out). The joystick material feels a lot more durable and for some reason they seem raised slightly higher than the old controllers. They probably aren't (it could be that the material is new and hasn't worn off yet) but that definitely made in game movement easier. 3. The small light bar shining through the touch pad on top is a nice touch but frankly I don't play many games where the light bar is that important to to me. I can't comment on how much longer the battery life is as I've only played it in hardwired mode but that would be a nice added benefit for those times I do go wireless (which I may never do now). If you're on the fence about this and you do a lot of gaming, it is definitely worth the investment! ... show more

  • Nothing Better Then A Classic Dual Shock 4 Controller
Color: Jet Black
Happy to have one of these again. I had originally bought a HORI Fighting Commander Octa. It was one of the worst fighting game controllers I had EVER used. I primarily play my fighters on D-Pad. Sadly the HORI Octa has been known for having a defective D-Pad and sure enough mine did as well. I immediately returned that trash and ordered the good Ol classic Dual Shock 4 Controller. Took me about a week to break in the D-pad, but I'm back to playing fighting games. A genuine Dual Shock 4 Controller is hard to come by online with the knock offs floating around. Hell I may buy a second next month as a backup. ... show more
