    • Honestly more of a pain than it's worth.
First issue was the secondary button controller. It was simply dead. I reached out to the sellers, and they said they could refund me $8. Not a replacement, they don't carry the button separately. After quite a bit of back and forth they offered a full replacement, switch and all, but at that point I wasn't even sure if I wanted to keep it. Next to not work was simply switching. It's so frustratingly buggy. I find myself having to restart the switch half the time just to get the screens to register input. Often one screen will turn on and the other won't. Sometimes neither of them will, and both will just stay off even after switching back to the PC that had both monitors registering input. Other times it takes 60+ seconds for the second monitor to turn on, and for every single switch, it takes at least 20 seconds while the first monitor is fairly instantaneous. It's bizarre and inexplicable. Third is USB devices. I have a split keyboard and occasionally the switch will register it as two separate usb devices and shut down the 2nd monitor. It cannot handle more than 3 USB devices, no questions asked. Don't even think about getting a hub. Overall, it works. Barely. Sometimes. And even when it does, you have to bend over backwards to keep it working. I feel like it's temperamental at best and unusable at worst. It's more trouble than just manually switching monitors. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately I guess I'll have to go for the $300 next best switch. ... show more

    • KVM with Dual Monitor Support
Having several computers under my desk, I wanted a way to make use of the same monitor, keyboard and mouse set up to control both of the computers, one computer at a time. I did some research and found this KVM Switch. When it arrived, I was surprised at how compact the whole unit was. It is tiny, and it looked like it was two boxes, but it is infact one, and the picture shows one side and the other side on top of each other. The kvm works fine with the set up I have, which is 2 monitors and 2 desktop PCS underneath being controlled by a single mouse and keyboard. The quality of the video is decent and it also has connections for audio and microphone as well. The remote switch was a bit buggy, but it's not a deal breaker. I use this in my bedroom to switch between my desktop and phone. I’m only using one monitor. With that said, the KVM works well for me but the remote button does not work. Not sure if it has to have both monitors for it to work or not. I like the fact that you can share one set of desktop speakers. Using this KVM with dual 4K monitors, with a MacOS setup has been a significant advantage. I have used other KVMs, but need to keep them on 1080p resolution to avoid any "connection conflicts". Not only does this KVM handle 4K, but it does on DUAL monitors. The only real gripe here is the power supply that is included, I've had to upgrade it myself because it gets a bit warm when used for a while. Lastly, having a remote switch is SUPER convenient. I mounted it under my desk and can easily switch between dual Mac configurations. Not a single failure on this, and no issues at all. ... show more
