Works well. Does just what you'd expect. Yellow blanks are very strong for this launcher: Can launch just over 100 yds with a bunch of recoil, and very loud. I typically use brown (though sometimes they blooper... not sure if its a batch of bad blanks or a compatibility issue). Brown launch about 35 to 40 yds. My 8 yr old can handle the recoil of the brown, but yellow is too much for him. Green work really well but go about 50 to 60 yds ... show more

Shot 5 times with Yellow loads. Blew the ejector apart. This is my second one, first one bought locally, shot it 4 times, same issue. Love this! I have an 11-week old GSP pup, so I'm using acorn blanks to shoot the dummy. Quiet enough to shoot in the house, but still a bit of a pop to condition the pup to loud noises. The dummy goes about 15-20 yards with an acorn blank. I also used an acorn blank without the dummy on the launcher. Loud crack. Sounded like a .22 LR. I'll use the launcher without a dummy when I work the pup over the birds. ... show more

This thing definitely packs a punch with the yellow loads. Sounds just like a 12 gauge. After doing some training on water, the first blast was as expected with multiple fails to follow. After having 4 shots going 5-10yd, I let the dummy dry out in the sun. It worked better after that, yet didn't have the same distance. And then repeat of the fails after wet. ... show more

Works great for the dog. I might try a shoulder supported one if I bought one again in the future. It is OK to hold by hand but a little difficult and I hold it on my leg to launch it

A bit clunky. I cut my finger on the extractor so be careful! With greed label Ramset .22 blanks it launches it about 80 yards out and about that high. I've only shot it about six times. It has misfired. I pull the plunger all the way and for some reason it dimples the shell but not enough to fire. Could be a Ramset issue, could be user error. The extractor pulls the cartridge out, yet getting the cartridge out of the extractor is tedious. It doesn't just pop out. It takes two hands to operate. UPDATE, 7/16: I have cut my fingers/hands several times with this. How I do not know. I have to wear gloves when using this product. The reason I give it 2 stars is due to it's over all poor design and occasional misfire. Which is why I am not going to purchase their remote launcher. More R&D needs to go into this. ... show more
