This fan set is a very simple way to give ANY computer a GORGEOUS facelift! No fancy RGB MOBOs, connections, or software needed. These fans look absolutely BEAUTIFUL when installed. Fans have a nice solid feel with thick ABS plastic frames and rubberized corners for installation. Each fan appears to have 16 RGB LEDs inside the white plastic ring that looks the same from either side so you are free to install them as needed (push/pull, view from inside/outside case). LEDs are nice and bright (nice for me as I have a case with dark glass sides) but they are dimmable for those who want less brightness. Lots of color patterns and effects (takes too long to cycle through them all and pick a favorite so I set mine to AUTO and let it cycle through them all). Remote controller only affects the LED lights, if you set it to OFF, only LEDs turn off. Fans move a nice amount of air and are not loud at all and are on an always ON full speed position with no ability to control the rpm speed with MOBO Bios or software. Each fan has an approx. 23in connection cable that must be connected to the fan controller, NOT a fan connection on the MOBO. (The controller can have up to 10 fans connected). Since this fan set has its own controller, you don't need a MOBO with RGB capabilities. The fan controller is powered by a 4-pin Molex connection from the computer power supply. PROS: Beautiful and Inexpensive No fancy hardware needed Just need a 4-pin Molex connection to Power Source Nice air flow and not loud at all CONS; (Not really cons, just stuff people need to know) NOT for people with RGB MOBOs or software controls NOT able to sync with other RGB items (i.e. RGB RAM/ RGB PSU/ RGB MOBO) Fan rpm speed NOT variable or controllable NEED 4-pin Molex connection (snobs treat this like 8-track tapes) ... show more

My sons Montech 903 case has room for 9 fans and came with 4 already but only the front 3 lit up. Bought this 6 pack to put 3 on the top facing out, 2 on the bottom above the PSU facing up, then replace the backwards exit fan that didn't light up with the case it came with. These look awesome, easy to run to the control box and then takes 1 cable off the psu and turns on immediately with the computer power up. The fan controller lets you reduce the speed of the fans which is great, so they can be reduced to make less noise if needed as I've seen some fans out there on sale if nor controlled by the motherboard you can't adjust the speed. Quiet, RGB Colors, variety in selection, simple hub, and super easy setup for my new machine. However 1/6 of the fans was dead on arrival and doesn't spin; probably just some bad luck on that part. The media could not be loaded. ::UPDATE: 11/22/2018:: Seven months of use and everything is still working flawlessly! And I do mean flawlessly. The one defective LED has somehow managed to heal itself over the last couple of months and is no longer faulty. I'll likely switch to a different set of LED fans in the future, once I upgrade my motherboard to one that supports RGB sync. But for now, this is the best set you can get for the price point if you have an older motherboard that is unable to sync your various RGB components. ::EDIT: 05/06/2018:: Bumped my rating back up to five stars for outstanding customer service. While I was not able to be issued a replacement for the one defective fan, I was issued a nearly 45% refund for my trouble. This worked well for me as I'll only end up using five of these fans down the road once I add a certain liquid cooler to my setup. My advice would be to inspect each fan's lights (run through all of the colours) to ensure they are working properly before final install. ::EDIT 05/03/2018:: I didn't notice the defect, at first, but one LED is defective (uppermost front fan in the video). It doesn't light up blue. This means it also can't create any colors that require blue (i.e. green, white, purple, pink, etc). So I have one LED that doesn't match the rest 80% of the time. Very disappointing as I tossed the boxes and cannot return the defective fan. Knocked one star down. ::ORIGINAL REVIEW 04/19/2018:: I recently purchased a used gaming rig that was in need of a facelift. I dismantled and cleaned all the existing parts and transferred everything to a new case and chose these Leddess RGB halo fans to add to it. This was my first time putting a computer together and I had no idea what I was doing. (Thanks, YouTube!) The Leddess fans did not come with a manual, and I couldn't find specific information online, but I managed to figure out the installation process easily enough. Things to take note of: - You must plug the fans directly into the Leddess fan hub (included in the package), not the motherboard. - Hub will plug into a 4-pin molex power cord. - You cannot control these lights with your motherboard. Lighting effects are controlled by the included remote. There are tons of lighting options! - There is no way to adjust fan speed. The speed of the LED lights, however, can be changed using the remote control. - Hub is a bit fat. You can mount it anywhere you'd like, but pay attention to it's thickness. I mounted mine on the back of the case (it mounts using a pre-attached 3M adhesive strip) and it just BARELY lets me close the back panel. Barely. - The hub can control up to ten fans and an additional two light strips! - LED light strips are available from Leddess and will plug into the same hub to synchronize with the fan lights. - If you find a color pattern you like, you can press the "On" button to freeze the animation (see video). - Unlike most RGB fans I've seen, these light up on both sides! Great for tempered glass cases. Considering the price point of six RGB fans for $45-50, these are a steal despite the minor drawbacks. I'm hoping Leddess will start selling single packs so I can grab a seventh fan. I'd also like to see 140mm fans that match. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more
