My Samsung dryer stopped heating, and upon investigation I found the element to be fried. Rather than paying some exorbitant price for a repair tech to replace it, I ordered this inexpensive part and fixed it myself for under $30. The great thing about doing this sort of repair yourself is that you can also do a very thorough cleaning of the inner workings of the dryer. No one cleans your belongings like YOU clean them. Getting things nice and clean inside the dryer will reduce the wear and tear on it, and also prevent your new element from burning up again. ... show more

    • Dies within 11 months -- 3 times
The original dryer element lasted years (about 6-8 years). I've replaced this 3 times, and it literally burns out within 11-12 months each time. It's not hard to replace, but it is a pain having to take the dryer completely apart to swap out the coil, and having to do that every year is getting ridiculous. Unfortunately, this product does not have the quality to last very long. I'm looking for a new vender / product. ... show more

    • Got a better value fixing it but dont lastmyself
Worked great for repair of my dryer. But plan on buying new sooner or later. Update: It's now Sept of 2022 and I'm replacing the element again! So the elements last a couple years. Oh and wear gloves when doing the repair. Your are surrounded by sharp metal. I'm buying a different brand of appliances in 2 years when this element bites the dust. Even though we had to disassemble most of the dryer to reach the broken element, it was extremely easy to install (with the help of a great YouTube video). This high quality part was sold at a fraction of the cost and we saved a lot of money by DIYing.

It was easy to install with a YouTube video and fixed our no heating issue however I am now writing this less than 3 months after installing it and it is broke. I guess you get what you pay for..thought we were getting a great deal we are now paying over $180 for a new heating element, fingers crossed it works longer than the $30 one. ... show more
