These are great - sturdy enough to pull on and off the wall a lot, but light enough that velcro worked beautifully to mount them. I especially love that they came in a pack of 12 - very convenient for making a perpetual calendar!

My husband is hard of hearing and for the past six months we've been doing a lot of pantomime waiting for his hearing test to be conducted. Unfortunately, that test has been postponed twice now, and it doesn't look like it's going to be "on" anytime soon. Thus the purchase of these boards. I decided that instead of trying to yell at him, I'd get these and see if we both couldn't relax a bit - and maybe even have some fun. The boards came well packaged, and all were in good order, free from scratches or nicks. The white surface is smooth and easy to write on with a dry erase pen (not included) and wipe off with a dry cloth (not included). They are thin, but not overly flexible so they are unlikely to break easily. They are a tad slippery, and I'm thinking that since the whiteboard is only on one side (the backside is dark gray) perhaps I'll glue something like non-skid shelf liner on the back of it to make it. I could see using these for homeschooling, for games like Pictionary, and for communicating with people who are hard of hearing as I've described. A really good value in this package for less than four dollars a board, and if you can find it in stock, I recommend getting it. ... show more

Every time I need a pencil and paper, which is usually when I'm on the phone with a friend or a business, I have to fumble around until I find both before I can continue. This is just in the living room. In the kitchen, I'll use the board for grocery lists and temporary recipes. And in the bedroom, for ideas I think of when trying to sleep but my mind is too active thinking about ideas that I need to write down. So I decided to buy a 12 pack of dry erase lapboards and fix them up with a dry erase pen attached like in the picture above, and distribute them to every room in the house (except for the bathroom, of course). Now, I'll never again have to struggle to find a pen and paper. I couldn't be more pleased with these dry erase boards. But you asked for both pros and cons. The only negative about these boards for me is that they weren't magnetic. If they had been magnetic, I could have put a nice sized magnetic eraser on the boards, and that would have been wonderful. But still the boards are very nice even though they weren't magnetic. Excellent quality! ... show more

I was searching for ideas for my granddaughter's birthday treat bags. I hate to say it, but many treat bags are filled with candy and frankly just junk! I decided to get these simple erase boards, a box of generic (But quality, low or no oder) erasable markers. I also found some cute 😍 small smiley erasers (available on Amazon). I did also put a SMALL bit of candy and and a few small PRACTICAL toys as well, but that's up to you! ( I went a bit overboard with my little granddaughter's 4th birthday, grandmas are prone to do that LOL) But, any child who receives just an erasable board with markers and an eraser will be thrilled! These are quality, economical boards and well worth the price for the fun they provide.
