  • Worth it!!
Listen, I know it seems pricy for a lip balm, but I promise it is SO worth it! I have chronically dry lips and sensory issues, so I have to have lip balm. I had looked into different ones and landed on this one, hesitant to try because of the price tag. It lasted me about 4 months! I put it on in the morning after brushing my teeth, and I don’t have to reapply until around dinner time!! HOWEVER, if you have a partner who likes to kiss you often, you will definitely have to reapply more often. So with that in mind, maybe find a cheaper one that works for you. ... show more

  • Bestest lip balm ever - really.
I am never without one of these lip balms, it keeps your lips super soft and moisturized. Well worth the money, in my opinion, compared to other lip balms I've tried. This "lippe" balm is light on your lips, tastes great (slightly sweet), nourishing, and lasts a long time. I also love the larger sized "stick" as you can easily cover your lips with just a pass or two. I've even given one or two to my Dad to use as he loves it, too. Like I said, the bestest lip balm ever. Thanks Drunk Elephant! ... show more

  • Works great
I am 74 years old and in the last year my lower lip has really shown the sun damage. I just started using it and I’m very impressed. I like to wear a long lasting lipstick which is drying too and I’m pretty amazed that I put this on over the lipstick in the morning and it lasts pretty much all day. I think that the negative reviews may come from people who have used drugstore lip products for too long and they use too much too often. I use at night before bed and in the morning. By far the fastest results of any product I’ve ever used. ... show more

  • Worth it :)
It may look expensive, but it has a lot of benefits! This product is both a lip balm, and an eye balm! This lip balm isn’t sticky, and it lasts long. It doesn’t have a scent, however, it has a small vanilla type taste. You can take it in your bag, too! Five stars, I recommend.

  • Works well but not as good as the sugar lip balms
I like this product, but it doesn't feel like it's penetrating into my lips. it sits on top and feels a little more greasy than it does moisturizing. Kinda pricey for the results.

  • Good, but not great.
I have severely chapped lips and it is really hard for me to find chapstick and lip balm that helps. I figured I would give this guy a shot, what do I have to lose? For the price, I'm not really impressed. I can't say it hasn't helped to moisturize my lips, but it isn't that noticeable. I get better results from just pure Vaseline. It smells alright and it is easy to apply with its wide mouth. I'm starting to only use it when my lips are semi healed from vaseline on them all night. It is more like a morning routine. I'll do my skincare routine and apply the lippe afterwards while I continue to get ready for the day. I just feel it is a waste to put it on my severely chapped lips when it doesn't heal them very well. It is too expensive to waste like that. If you don't suffer from extreme chapped lips, then I'm sure this lippe will work great for you. If you do suffer from chapped lips, it may or may not work. It doesn't for me. Give it a shot, you might get lucky! I live in a very dry state (New Mexico) but I eat very clean, mostly a plant based diet and I drink a lot of water. My lips just take a beating from the dryness of the desert, I guess. ... show more

  • READ IF YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW
Okay, before I leave this review, I just want to say one thing, if you own a perfectly good Burt’s Bees chapstick already, you don’t need this. However, if you care about your lips bathing in some luscious oil, or having lips that seemingly do look like 2.0 versions of your original 1.0’s, get it. Not going to mention any pros because there’s a lot but cons: it’s really big, it runs out quick if you use it more than twice a day, it equates to: 4ish venti iced coffees , 3 local Uber’s not round trip, 2 chipotle burrito bowls 1 with guacamole, and a high probability of losing it within the first 24 hours. But yeah, I love it, buying it again... soon. Ugh. $18. Idk man. One trial was great but second is like eeeeeeee. TBD. ... show more

  • King of the lip balm
By far this this is the best moisturizing lip balm I’ve ever gotten in my life. I have acne prone skin and I have to take medication which will make my lips very dry and chap. Having a good moisturizing lip balm is a must to prevent my lips from bleeding and this one by far is the best!!!! Compare to the burts bee, which I need to re-apply every 15 minutes, with this I only need to re-apply every 3 hours on average. I will stick to this brand from now on. I would give it 100 stars ! ... show more
