Bought these boots to works on cars with. They are heavy duty and comfortable. They were a little tight on the widest part of my right foot, so I took a plastic hammer and beat the .... out of it on the tight spot. That took care of that problem and now they fit just fine. Can recommend.

These shoes are solid and durable and look amazing. Dont be fooled by the price. I also get a lot of compliments on them as the reflective line really stands out on these. The reason I give them 4 stars is because of their weird insoles that must be replaced when purchasing this shoes, which is an additional cost to the buyer. Other buyers have also stated the same in their reviews however, of course I had to try for myself. Well the other reviews were true and they will hurt your feet without additional insoles. Especially if you are on your feet 8-12 hours standing and walking continuously. So,with that being said,I replaced those ridged green insoles that come with boots with my old worn out sketcher steel toes red memory foam insoles . Then I bought another pair of insoles for 8.89 from Amazon called Happystep memoryfoam insoles (gray with(yellow bottoms) which had good reviews. I put those bad boys on top of of my old sketcher insoles, and wow what a difference. Now my shoes are comfortable as hell and I can wear them even after my 12 hour shift without hurting my feet. So if you are searching for a good looking durable boot that can shine up nicely and wear for other occasions, events which even include tactical activities that won't break your budget, then these are it. Grab a pair, you won't regret it. However, as I mentioned you will need to change the insoles no doubt. I also bought the brown ones as well due to the price of 39.99, amazing. It's been over 3 months and other boots didn't fare so well given a similar span of time. Apparently the boots are comfortable, true to size/fit well, and are holding up very well; no busted soles, exposed steel toe, ripped leather, etc. These are a good weight, neither the lightest or heaviest option. Good price and fast delivery. The insole may need replacement soon to restore the feel of memory foam cushiness. Will purchase again. ... show more

First of all these look great for being such a great price. And they were comfortable right out of the box. I like the wider toe box and the protective rubber toe cap like the Keens i usually wear, but these are lighter. The reflective strip is a nice touch as well, as well as the aggressive bottoms. Wore them for a day out in the cold and they kept my feet warm and dry. The boots are true to size and are about a medium/wide width. The insoles that come with are comfortable. Only 2 dislikes but that doesn't deserve less stars. My feet to slide around on the insoles with socks, and the rubber is not stick or tacky like higher priced work boots. But still offer good grip. All said and done, great boots for the price. Would definitely buy another pair. ... show more

The first pair of shoes that was worth the price in a long time. We'll see how long they last but so far they mostly fulfill the advertised claims. They're tough and are work ready with steel toes with anti slip soles. I had to replace the laces with elastic ones that don't require tying them up every-time or tripping over them if they become loose. The other thing I had to replace was the insoles. The included ones are too thin and have zero shock absorption. So you're looking at least another $20-$30 to get their full potential bringing the total for these shoes to around $70. UPDATE: After two weeks of wearing these along with a pair of quality insoles I have come to the conclusion that you're better off getting more expensive shoes. You have to use thick insoles in order to them comfortable, but that will make them too tight. You're trying to turn ok shoes into good shoes, you might as well spend the extra money and buy quality shoes and save yourself the trouble. ... show more

I like the overall design of these 977 DRKA boots , previously purchased size 8.5,too tight even with insole replacement) purchased size 9 replacement no size issues,they are sturdy,can be laced& unlaced easily,water proof, puncture proof.That said my issues are with the sizing chart lack of width information,the steel toe doesn't cover all toes(this seems to be common for many manufacturers?)Fyi:size 9 better fit with provided insoles,I usually wear size 8.5 x wide in Skechers utility boots.So 3.5 to 4*'s boots with room for some improvement Returning the 8.5's "THANKS Amazon Liberal return policy!! All shoe/boot sellers should be required to post the length/width in English understandable terms inches & cm/mm.See Spiez website for comparison,was able to make a first time right purchase because of clear complete information! ... show more
