Wonderful product and wonderful customer support! This chair is for my mother, but I didn't want it shipped to her place in case she couldn't get it into the house. I didn't know it would require a signature, and I had a hard time being home to receive it, and I couldn't get it shipped to a different address so it was sent back to the seller. I contacted the seller and explained the situation. I asked how much it would cost to ship a new one. They responded to my inquiry immediately and sent a new one out right away, without any cost to me, and no cost to restock the chair. They asked me where they should ship it, so I had it sent to my workplace. I received the new chair within just a few days, and it is wonderful! It is incredibly light. I'm barely 5' and I can lift it with one arm. The chair needed almost zero assembly. The chair was all assembled, except for the foot rests, and those are removable on purpose. They can be placed on the chair just by sliding them onto pegs, and then they lock securely in place. The chair easily folds up and is easy to lift and place inside a trunk. The blue plaid is very pretty... it doesn't look like the standard chair you see in hospitals, which is a nice touch. The chair itself is sturdy, and seems well put-together. It's a lightweight chair, and I can't speak for how well it would carry a very heavy person. My mother only weighs about 120lbs. My co-workers (when I unpacked it at work) remarked that the chair seemed short, but my mother thought it was fine. She found it easy to sit on it and to get up, and I found it easy to push her around.     • Light weigh, extremely portable and filled with features.

I wanted a wheel chair that was extremely portable, which meant light and foldable. At the same time it had to be durable and sturdy. The chair when folded had to fit in the hatch back storage area of a Fiat 500, even with the rear seats up and in use. The chair needed to be thin to be able to go through old doorways that may not be very wide. Another small detail, is not having the arms in the way when the rider wants to eat at the dinner table. There was also the maneuverability aspect...you need bigger wheels unless you are just using it inside. Most important, a wheel chair has to be comfortable for the rider. If you are looking for something similar, the Drive Medical Fly Lite Ultra Lightweight Transport Wheelchair may be the solution for your needs. The following are the noteworthy points: 1) As far as portability, I was looking for a transporter so not having large rear wheels made it even more portable. The leg rests fold to the side or can be easily removed for even more portability. The back unlocks and folds down to decrease the height. For those who are wondering, the back rest locks are of good quality and appear very secure and sturdy so far. A tug on the seat handles bring the two sides together. It's about 10 inches thick when the sides are collapsed together. 2) You'll notice in the picure that the arms are static, but recessed. The riders body can be closer to the dining room table. This feature also makes it easier for the rider to get in and out of the chair. Not as convenient as folding or removable sides, but good enough in my opinion. 3)The wheels seem sturdy although I will have to update on how long they will last. You guys may run with your baby stroller or your dog,..I take my mom. lol. 4) The foot rest adjust vertically only. My mom did not need angle adjustment since she was not in a cast. 5) The aluminum brakes are actually very well designed and constructed. This was a deal breaker for me when I was considering a less expensive model. 6) the chair is really comfortable since your a practically sitting in a hammock. For extensive use, get a seat cushion. The media could not be loaded. Very good quality. Pushes easy, with one hand even. Easier than some strollers. Very smooth ride. Turns easily. Exactly what we were wanting for our occasional need of a wheelchair. Especially the price point. Collapses amazingly. Tight enough we will be able to get in Ride Share vehicles without extra accommodation. Feels really solid. Pretty lightweight. I could move it into a car by myself. When collapsed you can use the handles on the seat to lift. We bought a stroller bag to add to the back for drinks. It does come with 2 pockets on the back. Could hold a water bottle but it is tight, better for a cell phone. The right pocket has a Velcro closure. Comes fully assembled, just need to clip the feet rest on. Adult male: 6 ft 2 in tall, 245 lbs. body width is still comfortable. Can adjust the feet down and would be comfortable, we just didn’t. When he pushes the handles are at a perfect height for him. I’m 5’6 and think they also feel appropriate for pushing. It would be nice if they were adjustable, but I don’t think they are. Teen: 5 ft 6 in tall, 120 lbs. the chair is for her while traveling. She says it is much more comfortable than the ones we normally rent. Cloth is nicer than the hard leather ones. Very excited to try it out on our upcoming trip. ... show more
