I needed a larger garbage bin for my car & decided to give this a try. I have mine hanging from my passenger's seat head rest. You get 10 replacement bags with the bin & yes, you CAN use regular plastic store bags as replacements. The only issue I have noticed, is that the air coming in through my windows can potentially cause garbage to fly out (though that has not happened yet - just the rustling of paper). The XL version of this bin comes with an attached lid, I wish this did as well. I am going to cut a piece of cardboard to put atop the garbage (mine is almost 100% paper) to ensure nothing goes flying. This issue is not enough for me to take off any stars at this point. Other than that single issue, I LOVE this garbage bin! I especially like the forethought the designer's put into attaching clips that hold in the replaceable liner bag! In my use, these hold very well & the bag has not moved since installed. The straps appear to be stitched very well & I am looking forward to using this for many years to come. ... show more

I do not write many product reviews as I feel it is not the consumers job to market products. This product is worth the exception. I have had and used it for a good while now and I applaud not only the customer service I received when I first ordered - excellent and speedy communications regarding an extra set of bags ordered but the bag is so handy and I no longer have to check front/back and window pockets, trash is in one place where it belongs. The bag is strapped to the front passenger seat, where I as the driver can easily reach it. The only other passenger in my car is my granddaughter and she too can easily place her trash right behind her. The funniest thing is she says "Nana we need gas." I look down and say why yes we do. How did you know? She replied," I can always tell it is time get gas when our trash bag gets full." So now our bag has dual purposes. Handy trash collector and gas gage! Thanks. ... show more

    • This seems like such a simple product
This seems like such a simple product, almost too simple. Been throwing a grocery bag in the backseat for years so the idea of paying for a container for that bag kind of bugged me. Then I took a long road trip and this thing was awesome! Put it on the back of the driver's side headrest and we emptied it 5 or 6 times on the road. It's waterproof so the soda that leaked out didn't end up on the rental car floor! Would recommend! Now that I'm home I find myself using it often too. No more stashing receipts/straw wrappers etc. in the doors or on the floor. ... show more

Gave this to my husband for Valentine's day He adjusted the straps, put a liner in it and the garbage bag worked immediately. My husband has sinus problems and they run almost 24/7. The used kleenex balls now go into the trash can and no longer linger on the floor of the car This was a long past due needed item ... show more

This thing is awesome! I haven't tried using it as a cooler yet, but I love knowing I have the option when the time comes. As a car trash receptacle, it has been everything I could have wanted. Hangs on the back of my passenger seat securely, easy to replace bags. I love the hooks it has on the side to keep the bag in place. I recommend these to anyone with a messy car. This is the first car trash bin I've used that doesn't have a lid, and I was hesitant to buy it because of that. However, it's proven to be a good design after all. The fabric is durable, the stitching and design, while soft-side, actually holds its shape well, and the hooks on the side hold the bags in place much better than my previous bin. ... show more

Perfect lowkey trashcan. Doesn't take space and doesn't scream 'clean freak alert' to your passenger. They just appreciate a trash bag nearby that doesn't look gross. I empty it every day or every other day, but man, it does a difference. Now when I Lyft and Uber, people throw things once awhile and I'm sure it makes them feel better than tossing it out in window or holding trash for long period of time. Love the bin! I use it in my SUV and it fits perfectly either between the front seats or under the radio panel. It's sturdy yet flexible. I put a Kleenex box in one half and a trash liner in the other for garbage. LOVE that it comes with the trash liners - nice touch!! Even better touch is the personal email from the founder/owner - we emailed back and forth a couple of times. Personalized customer service can't be beat. It has other features I haven't used yet.
