I really couldn't be more please with these lamps. 90% of the nightstand lamps on Amazon are touch activated. I didn't want that because 1) I touch them accidently and it's annoying, and 2) I want to use a Wi-Fi LED bulb and connect to Alexa, which doesn't work well with a touch lamp. These have a rocker switch (check the specifications because the optional color lamps vary in their specs) which I'll just leave on. I installed Sylvania Smart Bulbs and it works perfectly. There is really no assembly. Just remove the shade from its shipping position, unwrap it, flip and reattach the retaining nut. As described, there are two USB-A ports and one USB-C. The output of these is 5W or 3W (depending on lamp option) so that is not fast charging as claimed, which is usually 20-35W. There is also a 3-prong electrical outlet on top of the base, and the slots for holding phones or tablets. The finish on the lamp and shade seems nice. I have the black matt plastic base and the cream linen shade. No problems noted with construction. In summary of your looking for a non-touch lamp work some nice extras, really can't go wrong with these. Price was low, too. ... show more

These are one of the best purchases I've gotten on Amazon. They are really useful and work great. They have a dc outlet x2 so you can fast charge. Perfect phone prop option for any phone. And the price is great.

Purchased for use in the bedroom . I now get to sleep on either side of the bed without having to move the power strips and extension cords from one side of the room to the other. I just plug my phone and watch into the lamp and I'm done. So much easier and so much neater as well.

The brightness is soft so it's not so bright makes a great perfect night light if needed also the charging USB plugs come in handy and it even has a normal outlet plug as well two per box one for each side of the bed and I love them!
