Where do I start... Let's start with how it arrives. The unit comes packaged in 3 layers of boxes, an outer Amazon shipping box, an outer dreame box that is about the same size as the vacmop and then another full label / product box. It comes in a few pieces but it's super easy to put together. The top just snaps into the base and you are good to go. The cleaning / charging station has a few parts that slide in (1 holds the spare brush, and 1 holds the spare filter), then you plug it into the wall, and you are ready to charge the unit. It did come with some charge already, we have 2 of these, each one had a different amount, one was closer to 40% one was closer to 50%. Filling the clean water tank is fairly simple, a rubber plug on top can be opened and then water just goes on. The solution that is provided has a measuring cup cap, this gets a bit messy when you put the cap back on, some solution will drip down the sizes. The solution itself has a nice smell. kind of like men's cologne. Once the tank is full of water and solution, you are ready to clean. There are a few options for cleaning, one dry vacuum option without any solution, the other is regular mode, and then "ultra" mode which takes 30 seconds or so to prepare, I am not sure what it does for ultra mode, but it does seem to use more solution and the brush feels like it's spinning faster. IT does clean really well for a cordless unit, my wife is happy with it too. It picks up everything on the first try, some stubborn items that are stuck to the floor take a few goes but also come up eventually. The unit self propelled which makes it easy to push around the house. We only use it on hard flooring so I can't comment on the rug / carpet cleaning capability. Cleaning the unit is actually the best part, throw it on the charger, click the button for ultra mode and it cleans itself then goes into a dry cycle for about 30 minutes to dry the brush. The clean cycle is a bit loud, as it's actually running the motor, the dry cycle is a soft humm as it's just turning the brush and blowing hot air over the brush softley. The brush has never had a smell on it after cleaning, it is dry and clean at the end of the cycle. Last but not least, the recharge time i about 4 hours if you managed to drain the battery to 10% or below, otherwise it's not as long and will depend on the current charge level. We usually end up doing 1 or 2 rooms at a time and the unit still has 50%+ left on it. Overall, this thing is great and we liked it enough to replace our venerable 4 year old Bissell by buying a second unit. It is a bit heavy, I wouldn't suggest taking it up and down stairs to do another floor, which is why we ended up with 2. Solid 5/5 for me. ... show more

Here in CA, if you leave your windows open, the black grime builds up on floors in less than a week. I bought this primarily with the hope that it would cut through and clean what my main vacuum can not (tile floor). It does that and way more, it's super convenient for both the weekly complete floor ~1,000 sq' and the instantaneous messes as they happen. The design is solid and works flawlessly and the self cleaning function is super convenient. The cleaning solution goes a long way and leaves the floor super clean and shiny. The ultimate test is walking around with white socks after the floor has been cleaned... they stay white! ... show more

I bought this in April 2024 and I have loved this machine. I have 3 dogs and twin 3 year olds and this thing keeps my house clean and smelling nice. I’ve even put a small amount of bleach in it sometimes and it has actually cleaned my floors so well. In September of 2024 it began malfunctioning. It would shoot out all the water in the tank as soon as I turned it on. I contacted to company and after some back and forth for about a week I was given a shipping label. I paid for shipping ($13) but that was it. My machine was repaired in a matter of days and shipped back to me. It was delivered today (still September) and it works perfectly. I’m so happy to have this thing back! Overall, it is worth the money. It is relatively light, much quieter than my Shark vacuum, holds its charge the entire time I clean my 3500 sq. ft. house with all hardwood floors. The self clean option is actually useful as well as the brush dryer. I would buy this machine again and again. ... show more

My daughter-in-law bought this. I watched her suction up puppy urine, switch to the cleaning mode and watched the floor dry in what seemed like less than a minute. My eyes popped and my jaw dropped in AMAZEMENT!!! My eyes popped and my jaw dropped in amazement. I had always thought ... when is someone going to make me a vacuum that washes the floor because I don't have time to invent one myself? I went home and ordered my own. I chose this brand because of my daughter-in-law because there was no other info out there for the machine so I knew I would have to do a review so others would know how much this little machine will brighten your day! I am glad to see that there are more reviews out there now. I LOVE IT!!! I am a mother of 6, have 5 dogs, have a dirt driveway so I gave up on keeping the floor clean all the time. There just is not enough time in the day. =) Know what I am saying? Now, all I have to do is grab this beautiful little machine and the floor is clean in one simple step. Sometimes my floor has a lot of sand from the dogs so out of love for my Dreame H12 I run a vacuum but I know that I do not have to. I have had it for 2 months so I have a lot of experience with it. I did use it on my braided rug which worked perfect because the roller is soft, no bristles so my rug got refreshed. I did however vacuum the rug first. I took off the roller for the first time today to see if it needed to be changed or have a special cleaning. It had a fresh smell and no dirt!!! The self cleaning is a God sent! I don't have to worry about vacuums with filters or dust going into the air with this baby. Remember to empty the used water tank after use, this machine works so well that the water is filthy and will smell like a dirty diaper you found at the beach in a day if you don't empty it!
