It is a very interesting book and my son loved it. With the indications at the beginning of the book, my son has been able to improve considerably the drawing of characters. I would have liked if there had been more indications to create other types of characters and other parts of the human body.

I know nothing about comics. This book helps to set the scene of how to prepare the storyboard. It was a very interesting read.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it delivers what it promises on its Amazon book page - a 114 page book (actually, my copy had 115 pages) consisting of about 15 pages of brief art (anime) instruction followed by 100 pages of comic book templates for you to practice on. If you have a little bit of developed art talent, you'll probably find this useful, but if you don't, you'll need a more thorough introduction to this art form (check out the introductory manga and anime books by Joseph Stevenson for this). This is a good tool to teach a child, teen, or even an adult how to make a comic book. It teaches how to develop the story and characters. Then it teaches how to draw the characters and provides about 100 pages with boxes for your own story. It is great for someone who loves comics!

This book provides an inadequate amount of detail for how to draw a comic strip. It's mostly just a template, with places to inert characters and dialogue. I do not recommend it.
