A common, everyday item we all need once in a while -the lowly drain snake! It breaks up clogs in the toilet as well as the bathroom and kitchen sink. It saves you MONEY when compared to having a plumber come clear the clogs for you. A single call to a plumber costs more than this drain snake, and the drain snake can be used time and time again, saving you big bucks! This is a well made drain snake made with thoughtful design. Unlike most drain snakes, this one keeps the snake part hidden and contained.. No mess gets on your floor, wall, you... This drain snake even comes with an excellent pair of reusable waterproof gloves so you don't get nastiness on your hands! When you have an especially tough blockage, you can even use an electric drill to power through the clog, again saving you the expense of a plumber. The snake part, or flexible steel auger, is contained within it's storage housing. This is what the spring is attached to, and this is the part you pull out and shove into the drain. It is 50 feet long, and you're likely to never need all of it. One picture in the product listing is very misleading. For this drain snake to work, it has to go physically INSIDE of the clogged pipe and the spring has to be pushed into the clog. Once it is IN the clock, lock the spring with the thumb nut, pull it back into the notch, then turn the crank handle to screw the spring into the clog. Then carefully pull the snake back until you pull out the clog. You'll probably have this several times. Don't quit until the drain snake goes through the pipe freely past where the clog was. Otherwise you'll be unclogging your pipe again real soon! ... show more

This drain snake is a solid choice for handling household clogs, especially with the convenience of attaching it to a drill for tougher blockages. The 50ft length is more than enough for most plumbing issues, and the steel drum feels durable and well-made. The option to use it manually or with a drill is a nice touch, making it versatile for different situations. However, I did notice a small issue with the storage bag—it arrived with a hole in it. Good Auger – Works like it’s supposed to. Auger seems solidly built. It’s a bit heavy but manageable. I have one big clog that I used this on. Got the drill out planning on testing how well this works with the drill but it was honestly easy enough to crank that I was able to clear the clog manually. Now I find myself in the awkward spot of wishing for more clogged pipes so I can keep testing this auger… There is an included carrying bag and some cheap gloves. While the bag is handy, and does have a thin liner, the bag is made from fabric. You really need to clean this thing well before stowing it back in the bag. This drain snake from KINGLEV his made of quality, high impact plastic which is very durable and should last a long time with proper handling. It's an excellent value for the money, considering what will be saved by not having to call a plumber. The manual crank is very easy to use... and itveven attaches to mybelectric drill for even easier functionality!     • Disappointed didn't work on delivery
Read directions pulled some line out, attached my drill and worked like a charm UNTIL I tried to advance the line, which would not advance beyond 4 ft. No way to untangle the wedge inside the real. Had to return. Very disappointed.

    • Don’t Call The Plumber—Do This First!
We have old pipes in our home, and clogging is a typical issue, so we tested this drain snake before calling the plumber and it worked great! The drain snake has a 50 ft. steel rod which is more than adequate for our household plumbing. Once inserted into the drain, the circular drum area (which is heavy) has a spindle for attaching to a drill making the rotation of the rod very efficient for unclogging. Another way is to rotate the drum area by hand which works okay but using the drill takes less time. Normally, a plumber would charge us twice as much as what this drain snake costs, so this is definitely a cost-saving, time-efficient, must-have tool for the home. ... show more
