I was so upset because I completely redid my master bathroom a year ago and for the last 6 months, I was having to use chemical drain cleaners weekly. And then, even they didn’t seem to help much. My shower would collect water and take 15 minutes or more to drain. I bought this before trying more expensive options like a plumber. My boyfriend tried snaking the drain with it. Nothing. We resigned ourselves to the fact that we would have to pay insane plumbing costs to troubleshoot. But I decided to give it one last try. I spent about 30 minutes trying again and again and finally, I caught something. I think the construction guys may have left a rag in the pipe and it wa a blocking the passageway. I pulled out a long, thick string of white cotton with this auger and haven’t had any issues at all since. I think I dislodged the blockage. This saved me hundreds of dollars!!! ... show more

Worth every penny, I have just the regular snake and I could not get the snake through tight corners in my kitchen. The clog was bad and in between my garage and kitchen. It takes a bit of practice but once you figure out how properly use it everything works fine. The main problem I had was getting it to snake through a difficult path in the toilet but after 6' it finally got there. Just a bit of back an forth with my electric drill attached and it was all good. I'm not a fan of the non-detachable auger tip because it was a real pain to try to clean off the... goo!
