    • This Tablet is Outstandingly Great!
I had this tablet since May. I never thought of getting a new tablet in a couple of years so I am going to get to the main point: THIS TABLET IS OUTSTANDING! Haven't been too long to get so used to a Dragon Touch tablet. Once I opened the box, it felt used, but felt new. Turned it on and went with the procedures of setting up my personal tablet. After that, I decided to browse the web specifically on Chrome while the Internet was connected. The webpages that I viewed were just like the one on the computer, however, what I really love is the flow of the webpages when scrolling up or down the screen with my finger. Though, the touch pad is highly responsive even when I accidentally put my other hand on any other place on the touchscreen. Moreover, I really like the gimmick of the touchscreen when you are putting at least 2 activities (like YouTube and Chrome) shown on the screen simultaneously; this is especially ingenious when you are reading an article one half screen while listening to YouTube music on the other. This also compensates if I wanted to play a different song or view a different web 1 action at a time while both apps are shown on the touchscreen. This tablet functions very fluidly. The durability of this tablet is good, but would be even better with a case since I know that the screen will potentially crack because of how wide the screen itself really is. I have not encountered any accidents on the touchscreen since I got the tablet but I was still willing to put a sturdy case on my tablet either way it goes. Also, the tablet backing is very sleak and slippery, that's another reason why I wanted to put a case on the tablet, however, the "dots" on the backsides of the tablet help create friction on the fingers so it won't fall out of your hands; if you were to view the tablet in a different perspective (horizontally) you won't have very much friction for the hand gripping and would more likely touch the screen more than the vertical side. This is my sagacious point of view. What could I say about that battery supply? IT'S JUST TOO GOOD. The first 2 days I did not need any charger! Also, the battery settings is just too great: when I put it in Power Saving Mode I wasted a total of 60% of battery supply within 7 hours! 7 HOURS. I've never had a tablet this good for power.     • Very good at a good price
My wife decided she needed an upgrade from her 8” tablet to a 10” with more memory. Since Asus (our current 8” & 10” tablets) don’t seem to be upgrading their line-ups with current products shipping with Android 6 or 7 - and my current tab bought last year only upgraded to 7 on start-up and nothing since - we started searching. We spotted quite a few of the no-name chinese tablets and the Dragon Touch tablets kept coming up as well. The chinesium didn’t look too bad and usually had 4+ stars with maybe a few hundred ratings but the Dragons have 2k+ ratings. As I usually feel more (ratings) is better I went with the Dragon Touch Cons - Google search bar stuck on Home screen. The Google Assistant seems to be pretty well baked into the OS and I can’t seem to get the search bar off the Home screen. It maybe isn’t a big deal just kind of annoying that it takes the entire top row of the Home screen so I’m calling that a waste of screen space. Camera app sucks. I couldn’t even find a settings menu in the app to make a few basic adjustments such as turning off (or at least minimizing) the shutter sound and changing the resolution. Yes, it has a few basic editing functions like cropping, color adjustments and a self-timer. But EVERY other device I’ve ever used has the abilty to have a silent shutter and adjust the resolution. This device won’t be used as a camera very often and there are alot of other camera apps in the Play store so it’s likely only a minor annoyance. No split screen function. Our other current tablets (Asus) allow some apps to function in a split screen so that I can have two apps running at once. Maybe that’s just an Asus embellishment I can’t say as the only tablets I have alot of experience with are the Asus. It’s another small thing but it is a function I use quite a bit. Pros - Price. At a bit over $100 it’s pretty hard to beat for a 10” device. Anything else in this price range is either a smaller screen or less memory/storage. No bloatware. At least that I can see. Most other devices have an app list as long as my arm with the manufacturer’s name in front. Do I really need another app to control the theme of the home screen or to “manage” something that can already be managed in the Settings app? I don’t think so, so not having 10 apps load at start-up in the background should be a plus all around. Flashlight. There is actually an LED next to the camera that acts as either a camera flash or a flashlight. I don’t recall seeing this on any other tablet, either that I’ve owned/used or that I’ve seen other people use. I shouldn’t forget to mention the price.     • Decent Tablet for the price.....but

It offered me the option to transfer all my phone apps and that's what I did 😄. So my setting up was quick and easy. I could delete any apps that l didn't need. The touch screen felt very uncomfortable so I had to get rid of the screen protector...the screen felt much better then. The touch could be more responsive, though. I can make and receive WhatsApp call 💯 However the display...the writing...is of poor quality. The font is grainy and difficult to see when interacting with the user interface. The device is described as "Dragon Touch" but when I accepted DragonTouch's offer of assistance to complete the registration of the device, the email I received described the device as Atozee and not DragonTouch. It leaves me wondering if the device is authentic. Please improve the pixel count because a device with the specs advertised, should give a better display experience. The video quality is quite ok, though. The tech support providers should provide updates to make the displayed text look way better. Then the reviews will all be 5-stars. ... show more
