  • Comfortable right out of the box.
Size: 11 Men / 12 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
Just bought these to replace a really old pair I had... Perfect to size and comfort and always stylish.

  • They still got it
Size: 10.0 Men / 11.0 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
A lot has been made of Docs "not being what they used to be." I've worn these consistently for over a year now and they look just like they did coming out of the box. Comfortable and tough. Get the Dr. Marten's wax and that is all you need to treat them and keep them looking and feeling great.

  • They "Break Down", not "Break In". (An edited review)
Size: 11 Men / 12 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
Let's get this out of the way from the top: Doc Marten boots are actually NOT good boots! They use really low quality leather and the soles are heat bonded to the boot. You can not re-sole these boots. Also they have NO SHANK so they offer very little support. They only come in full sizes, so if you are unsure of fit the best bet is to go to a physical store and try some on before ordering. Now with that out of the way... These boots do not, as I stated pre-edit "Break in" fast. Gone are the days of Doc's breaking in and fitting your foot comfortably. These are nothing like pre-90's Doc's! Seven months of light wear and the leather has softened up with the usual mink oil treatment. The exterior of the boot still looks good, as does the exterior of the sole. HOWEVER the inside of the boot has "Broken Down" the padding is as good as a sheet of paper, the seam across the top of the boot at the first eyelet that usually is a tough spot to loosen up and break in has still not broken in. The boots at this point are good for a quick walk across a parking lot in the rain, but not much else. They are going in the trash bin once this review is posted. By contrast I bought a pair of used, made in the 1980's docs that were "near new" and they are night and day to what these boots are. Nostalgia is one Hell of a drug, but that drug is not enough to numb the foot pain these boots that "Break down" and not "Break in" cause. ... show more

  • Runs small, but overall good boot

Size up, but over all it’s a good and sturdy boot

  • Good ol doc martens
Size: 11 Men / 12 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
Very comfortable for me and flat feet combined with orthotics these get me through being in my feet all day. Suggest breaking them in

  • Love them!
Size: 12 Men / 13 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
I just got them but love them so far, wore them yesterday and made sure to put alot of mink oil. I have problems with my ancles so I lace them all the way up and love them. Don't waste your time on cheap ones, they aren't the real deal.

  • Buy from Amazon and not a third party.
Size: 8 Men / 9 Women Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
Boots are extremely thick and stiff which is fine but the tongue and where it meets the bottom of the boot is very sharp and painful even while just standing still. It also had odd marks on the rubber just below the yellow stitches. I knew there was something off about the sale price from shoeterria inc. Stitches would also appear to be off or not even. In my opinion I received a defective pair that did not meet QA standards and they tried to pass them off on a sale price. The leather is so stiff I believe that they leather dyed it black. Leather dye and "pro leather dye" are not the same. One is alcohol based which greatly dehydrates and gives leather a stiff and "crinkley" feel while pro is oil based and pretty much better in every conceivable way. Either way I would recommend either make sure Amazon is the one overseeing the order or just buy them in person. Now I have to pay to ship it back and we'll see if the 3rd party will try to snake me. Which sucks because I need these for work to replace my other pair, which btw when bought in-store had absolutely no resemblance to the ones I received both visually and physically. ... show more
