First, to the reviews complaining about flickering or other display issues, they are generally running 4k over 60hz. This controller isn't rated for that, but they make one that is. Definitely check your requirements and buy the right one. I've been using this for 7 months now and it's great. I love having the remote switch. When I concealed and cable managed everything, including a sit stand desk, I had to come up with a different solution for my KVM and this fit the bill. The KVM is attached to the underside of the desk in back behind a panel and the switch is located under the desk next to the height controls. When you're walking by or sitting you can't see it, but it's very easy to located and activate by feel. I wish it was a rocker switch or any other switch design that you could tell which computer is activated though. It relies on you being able to see the numbers lit up, which obviously you can't do if the switch is hidden. Other than, everything is peachy. Regarding the seller, great service. After seven months, one of the HDMI outputs failed. I did all the troubleshooting, trying a different computer, cables, and monitor, but it was clear that the output stopped working. They replaced it with free 2-dau shipping and I was back up and running. Will buy from again, for sure. ... show more

This works well. it WORKS with my mac pro M1 thunderbolt dock and tunderbolt -> Display port adapter my company provided. it WORKS with my windows gaming PC. It requires ZERO configuration, mucking with, etc. plug it in, and it starts working. it DOES NOT include EDID emulation. When you switch from PC 1 to PC 2, it disconnects the monitors from PC 1, and the OS on PC 1 will respond with disconnect actions, like moving windows to the laptop. The box includes two display port cables and two USB cables, all about 4 feet long. The wired remote cable is also about 4 feet long, and includes a disk of double-sided tape to stick it down with. Overall the quality exceeds my expectations. no EDID emulation sucks, but I didn't expect it at this price point. Update: I just threw the box away yestereday. the left monitor's started 'flickering' occasionally. its like a bad electrical connection or something. it's probably going to explode in a ball of fire. Update 2: when my PC comes out of standby, I hear the USB/hotplug disconnect sound and never get any video until I cycle the kvm switch back and forth. seems like more low quality electrical connections. I bought this for work and worked great. I did have an issue where the DP stopped producing video. I looked under the KVM and sent an email to them explaining my issues. They gave me troubleshooting steps and when those did not work, they wanted to send a replacement. I was so happy that they were willing to make things right. Thanks for everything! ... show more

I had high hopes that this KVM would work for me, since I have a dual monitor setup, and need to switch between work and home computers. I also liked the EDID feature, which was vital for me to not have to rearrange my windows every time I switched computers. It worked fine early on, but after about three or four months, the right screen would blink out for anywhere between two and four seconds. Over time this got worse, and it started to go out for as many as 15 seconds. Finally, it went blank altogether and didn't come back until I power cycled the monitor. Really a waste of time and money for something that only functioned well for a few months. ... show more

This little gem worked perfectly the first week I used it, but this week I'm seeing some odd behavior. Occasionally when I switch from PC 1 to PC2 (or visa-versa) it will show the first screen from PC1 and the second screen from PC2. When I switch again, it then it shows the first screen from PC2 and the second screen from PC1. I have to disconnect the USB cables (and sometimes the HDMI cables) from both PCs in order to reset the KVM unit and then it shows the two screens correctly again. This has happened several times now, and it is very annoying. At first I thought it might be due to using a non-active DVI-to-HDMI cable (which seemed to work just fine the first week), so I switched it out to an active DVI-to-HDMI cable, but still saw the same incorrect behavior. Then I tried connecting the 5V USB-C power port (even though I'm NOT running 4K@60Hz resolution - just 2560x1440 @ 60Hz), but then the KVM unit wouldn't switch between PC1 & PC2 at all. Weird! I'm not using the remote switch as I have the box located just under one of my two Samsung LS27H850QFNXGO monitors and can reach the button on the box just fine. Other than this aberrant behavior, I really like this KVM switch. I love how compact it is (it was smaller than I expected), and I like having the 4 USB 3.0 ports on the front. The wireless Logitech USB dongle is working just fine with only a slight delay when switching from PC1 to PC2. It would be nice to have the DC/5V USB-C power port on the back so you could "plug it in" without having a wire coming out from the front of the unit, but so far the 2 PC USB connections (which are on the back) seem to be powering it sufficiently well. It seems to be working properly so far today, so I'll see how it goes and update my review accordingly. UPDATE 2/7/2023: I have continued to see the crossed/un-synched display issue on about a daily basis, but the seller has reached out to me and has offered a replacement KVM unit. I'll add another update after seeing if the new unit resolves the issue. ... show more
