I'm not sure if I'd qualify this as "extra heavy", more like medium-heavy, but it works well and is a nice quality for the lower cost. The weighted magnets are nice and keeps the curtain from flying around with the shower going.

Lose plastic type smell out of the bag once in use. Appropriate length for your average tub and true to dimensions in the ad.
