This item is a 160 inch roll of clear doubles sided nano tape. The tape is based on replicating the nanostructures found on the toes of a gecko. This tape can be used indoor and outdoor. It has really good sticking power (like the toes of a gecko). You just need to remember to push on the object for 60 seconds to get the tape to solidly attach to the surface. I used it recently to attach a powerstrip to the side of my desk making it easy to access. It's good to put a soap holder in the shower. You can tape you house numbers on your house to. You are not suppose to hang heavy objects on painted walls with it as it could ruin the paint, but I find it works really well to tape posters to a painted wall. I just stretch the tape from both sides when I want to remove it. You can actually wash the tape with water, let it dry and reuse it. There are so many uses for it. It's a must for me to have in my tool box. The price point is very reasonable for this tape. I'm a big fan, as it's my go to for securely fastening things without nails or screws. ... show more

I like the idea of double-sided tape, especially if it is strong. It is definitely a thick tape, and I thought it might be useful in helping keep the cover to my dryer vent from falling out. I cut several pieces, and I had to be careful not to get the tape stuck to my fingers, because when it stuck, it was hard to get off, and in pulling it off, it caused the tape to stretch and get deformed. It can be tricky to pull the protective coating off of the top side of the tape, and if you mess up, your fingers will be stuck to the tape and you’ll pull it off. In the end, I was successful, and hopefully, the cover won’t fall off anymore. ... show more

I ordered this Double-Sided heavy-duty Nano-Mounting Tape (160 INCH) to keep the flatware organizer from sliding whenever the cabinet drawer is shut or opened. I am pleased to say that it's doing excellent at keeping it in place. We have also used it to mount LED strip lighting and several under-cabinet LED pucks. The tape is very sticky. I found that you should use a quick-cutting motion with sharp scissors when cutting it. If you cut too slowly, it will stick to the scissors. The tape is removed easily by pulling it from one end, and as it stretches, it will release. The tape has a sheet of plastic wrap on each side. Don't throw this away! The edges are very sticky; you'll need the wrap to keep them from sticking to things. Conclusion: Although I have no experience with that tape named after visitors from other worlds, I imagine this is likely very similar. This item has met my expectations, which is my requirement to receive a four-star rating. At nearly ten bucks, it is a bit expensive for only 13.3 feet, but so is that other tape I mentioned (which is why I never purchased the other brand). I would order this again if I needed more.     • Very Strong Hold
This tape is probably the best I have ever found. It holds really securely. I am concerned that, if I try to remove it, it will stake the paint with it, but I have no thought of removing it, so this should be fine. It is holding things on the wall and other surfaces that I have found almost impossible to mount with other, less strong adhesives. Very good value. ... show more

This is some extremely sticky tape and I used it to mount battery operated candles in an outdoor chandelier. The candles have stayed put through two storms so far hanging in my gazebo. I am hesitant to try it on painted walls unless the item is going to be permanent as the description does not recommend hanging heavy or temporary object on painted or papered walls. This tape is great for hanging items like challenge coins in a shadow box and has held the coins on tight. I am really impressed with how strong this tape is. ... show more

    • THICK and grips tight!
I used this tape to mount charms onto a board, and it was waaaay more sticking power than I needed. This tape could probably hold a bowling ball to the ceiling, it grips so tightly! (I'm kidding, please don't tape a bowling ball to your ceiling!!) But it's very important to press hard on the items for at least 60 seconds for maximum grip! Good size roll for the price too. Works as described ~ a good strong hold ~ and reasonably easy to remove without taking off the finish of whatever you stuck it on ~ at least that's true with my use cases so far.
