I anxiously awaited these lampshades, they arrived with other items. When I opened the box the first thing I looked for were these. What? They were in a flat box. What is this wizardry? I couldn't imagine two lampshades could be in one pretty flat - did I say flat - box? Well, they unfold. At first I though, "well, this can't be good" and I was so wrong. The interior structure that makes it into a lampshade unfolds and you basically snap the supports into place. The little deflated heap of collapsed, folded fabric was transformed into a lampshade right before my eyes. The structure holds the fabric taunt. I am impressed. If these didn't come with "Free Returns" I might not have taken a chance on them based on some of the bad reviews. I noticed that some of the review pictures didn't show them put together with the supporting brackets (they were just hanging down below the shade) and that could be why people were saying that they were badly crushed looking. These are so easy to assemble and they look amazing. I'm now trying them on other lamps to see if I should buy more. They'll be easy to transport too, if I ever decide to move. The price is very reasonable, too. These were way worth the gamble. I could not be more pleased. ... show more
